Mummy - Well you will do it all so quick wont you! Yes I will have 1 or 2 for you, last Christmas I was expecting Pip so will make the most of drink freedom for myself anyway!!

Lucielle I think Mummys 4th is due early April? I hope she has another girl or the poor little boy will be swamped by women!!

I had a thought, Ive actually paid off nearly £5000 because I had to add on £900 when our boiler broke so that made me feel a bit better too.

Woke up to 3 inches of snow! Its quite pretty but made the trip to Mr Ms a bit tricky. Got there and spent a fortune (£75) but have filled the freezer with meat (pork, chicken, beef, ham joint & mince), got loads of tinned beans, toms and other stuff. Got loads of dry goods and also a huge stock pot for a fiver, thought it would be good for stews and stuff.
Ive saved the reciepts for the last 5 weeks too so I got a £25 off voucher which i am going to use for Pips 1st Birthday party food.

1st Birthday, hey, can you believe where time has gone?

What are you talking about!! I LOVE Lambrini!!

And baileys, and cava, and vodka, and rum, and Southern comfort, and wine and beer and oh well you get the picture!!

A girl after my own heart.

Don't know of you have an Iceland near you, but they have bottles premixed cocktails (70cl bottles 4%alcohol), and there 3 for £5.

Opened a woowoo, (vodka, peach shnnapps, cranberry) it was gorgeous, could add more vodka for an added kick, there was 4 different flavours, and there brightly decorated bottles - must be good, my mother drank some.

Had to celebrate passed my OU exam, apprently there was 20% of the nationwide figures that failed xx

Ha ha! Thats a nice surprise for you Mummy. You are lucky as there is some lovely long baggy knitwear at the moment so I am sure he will have found something. I asked OH for a cosy jumper that was smart enough for work, be intriguing to see what I get!!:rotfl::rotfl:

Kidcat loving inflatable snowman! That will confuse a few people once snow melts!! :rotfl:Ours is still sticking around but has frozen now so its a bit dangerous.

Mum2one Cocktails sound yummy. Well done again on passing your exam.:T

Ive been doing some cooking today. I had to make a massive chicken curry for at my mums on boxing day. It has to feed 8 people so I used 6 chicken breasts on offer at morries, 5 onions, large tub yoghurt, jar of tikka paste and a little bit of garlic and cumin. All in all £7.50 so 93p per head. Will just need a bag of value rice 73p and we are away!:D

Also did some other cooking made:
2 chillis (1 portion serves 2 if you get what I mean!)
    2 bolognaise
    2 pork and sausage casseroles
    2 sausage and bean hotpots
    2 pork and cider casseroles

All for just under £8 so about 80p for a meal for 2 whoop whoop!! I will need to add some mash, pasta or rice to the meals but still be well under £2 per meal.:money:

Best still its all done and in the freezer and I wont have to cook each night!:T

Ive done my meal plan until the end of January and apart from bread, milk and veg shouldnt need to buy much else each week.

I HATE meal planning so might carry on and do a couple more months worth and make the shopping lists to match, its done then isnt it?

Hope you are all having a great day x x x
