PCN issued outside my home

I do agree if the yellow lines are justified then fine. But if they were justified then there would have been problems before, but the residents have been parking their for years so why the ticket now thats my points. Come to think of it where is the original poster, hes disappeared and left us arguing his parking ticket :-)
You can probably tell parking tickets are a pet hate of mine. As you can tell from my name i do a massive amount of traveling abroad mainly driving. Most countries have much more relaxed parking laws than us and the traffic just flows the same. In fact it not until you return to the UK you realize just how much this government tries to control you.0 -
My situation is similar.
Everyone parks on the yellow lines. Tickets are issued once or twice a year, if that.
Occasionally a police officer, or PCSO will knock on a few doors, and tell you to move, occasionally a ticket will be issued.
There is no other parking nearby, so in the grand scheme of things it's not a lot.0 -

So do I, but most countries do not have the same volumes of traffic as us, and no the traffic doesn't flow as well when parking is not restricted, like here.
If you don't like the UK, you are not forced to stay.0 -
I live in scotland you would need to pay me to live in a big city.0

In the last 3 years i have covered 250,000 miles abroad and sorry but not really ever had a major problem with parking.0

Perhaps he's searching around the internet to find an advice forum re his PCN.
I don't think anyone is arguing? You have just turned it from help in appealing his PCN to an ill informed political rant about the validity of any restrictions?0 -

Ehh did i even mention any other restrictions, NO. Maybe a passing comment about the excessive amount of rules we have in this country, anyone i think would agree with that.0 -
