I fill a bucket with cold water put the turkey in it and put it in my garage as its freezing in there. I also put tight lid on it, to keep out any pests etc.

Hi there the discount excludes things like lottery sales, medicine, ciggarettes etc. You do get it on alcohol though :beer:

Just ask for a form, or there should be some on the checkouts for you to take.

Hi All, my Somerfield got a fresh delivery of turkey crowns (as the manager promised they would yesterday when I missed out) there was around 20 people in the queue when i got there at 9.45am (all men strangely enough!) it seemed we were all there for the turkey crowns! Anyway, no restrictions at my store - I got a large and a medium one - happy days!!!
I dont think they will last long though, as there werent that many on the shelves.

Was outside my local store just before 10am along half a dozen other people, restriction on ONE per person that being ONE TURKEY OR CROWN you were not allowed one of each. One bloke took 3 turkeys up to the till and complained profusely when told he couldn't have them - think its fair though as its only a little store and we're quite a big village. I got a large crown for £10 which we're having today as going to parents for xmas.

I went to my local Somerfield yeterday afternoon, and they had a good selection of crowns and full turkeys - so picked up the largest crown I could find, and have popped it in the freezer for a couple of days
