I bought what was described as a medium bird which serves 6-9 and weighs 4.8kg , this is a fresh turkey for £12 and a 2kg Fresh turkey crown for £8.

This makes the fresh turkey at £2.50p per kilo or for the few english left £1.14p per pound. The turkey crown is £4 per kilo

    hi
what size are the turkeys and how much are they

we have 12 people so what would be the best to get

    thanks

For a whole turkey about 500g per person so to feed 12 get a 6kg turkey or bigger.

I have popped mine in the freezer, as too big for the fridge and don't want to take any health risks.
