I would not tell your creditors of your intentions as they might try to get bailiffs arround to your house to claim what thay can while they are still leagaly allowed to.
Wowzers. Thanks for the tip off. I will have to hold my tongue thenMoney, money, money. Must be funny, in a rich man's world. :rolleyes:0 -
Marlowvian wrote: »The dude i spoke to on the phone to book my BR date told me that I have a telephone interview with the OR whilst I am there!!
Super scary but glad it'll be over the phone rather than in person.
The impression I got from others is that they call you / arrange to meet you a few days after the BR hearing, oui?
This will probably be the little "info gathering" call that I had after my BR.
It was an assistant from the OR's office who asked some general questions,
name, address, total debts, car, any hassle or legal proceedings that they needed to deal with?
It took about 10 mins and then he said to expect a call in about a week to tell me if and when I would be having an interview.
I don't think it will be the "biggie" interview - that will come later if you do have one, not everyone does.

You can join the "cacking it" club too, if you like - I am certainly a member of that one.

I have had a letter from my OR today saying telephone interview will be on the 23rd Jan so now reading your experience pooping myself again LOL most of the debts i incurred were years ago and got no flippin idea of the date and even unsure on exact year - does anyone know what they will do because of this? also on your soa you have: school dinners and bus money & trips for 2 kids £180 was this allowed? that would be great if so did they say anything about this?
Well welldone and bet you are chuffed thats all over with :O)
Clanbailey
so far !! Yes thank god that is over has defiantly been the most stressful part of the process
With regards to not remembering dates etc, I had a few that I could not remember either , you will have to try and guess but just make sure your estimates flow and tie up with other loans/credit that you have obtained. I guess what I am trying to say is it would look bad if you said for instance, "Took loan out for £10 000 in Feb 2004 but cant remember what I used the cash for" and then later on you have another one and you say " Yes that one for £15 000 I took out in March 2004 but also cant remember what that one was for". Do you get what I mean? Just make sure it all flows date wise.
With regards to the school dinners, bus & trips , yes they had no problem with this at all was accepted without question.
Hope that has helped.0 -

Regarding the dates, I'm so glad I took the advice of Startagain to get my experian credit file so I could check these.
Well done for getting through thisMoney, money, money. Must be funny, in a rich man's world. :rolleyes:0 -
