Thanks Yukki. My Dad says to ring them and tell them I am going to cancel, see if they offer me anything else and then if not go for RAC. At least I will get cashback like you said then!0

Can get the RAC for 80 quid after online discount and cashback, so will do that if they don't offer me better!0

Morning,
Just bought some tickets to go and see Dizzee Rascal and Lily Allen in March. OH is a big fan of Dizzee Rascal and I like him too so should be good. They weren't too expensive either and will give OHs as part of his Xmas present or get him to give me the money for his.
On the moneymaking news I got the money from my premium bonds in my account, my mum got me 30 quids worth when i was a kid and found them a few weeks ago so have cashed them in since I never won anything. Also rounded up the amount so now only 300 left to pay on overdraft. It also took me below £1500 worth of debt woo.0 -
That's brilliant Wendz, that last chunk of the overdraft is going to be gone really quickly at this rate0
-
I hope so , will be great when that is all gone and can concentrate on paying my Dad back. You are doing great yourself Yukki!
Have had a nice weekend. Went to see my friends sister sing at a gig yesterday. Today I went to see OHs nieces and sister and spent the afternoon with them, she is so sweet. Got an idea for a couple of xmas pressies too. Then this evening went round my friends families house and watched the x factor, they have got a new kitten and it was curled up on my lap all evening aww.
No more news on the moneymaking front though.0 -
Hi Wendz,
Can i ask where the Dizzee Rascal and Lily Allen concert is? My OH is also a big fan of both artists and i know he too would love something like that.
Sounds like you've had a lovely weekend so far, have a lovely relaxing Sunday.
Well done on the OD - you are doing great. The very best things in life ... are free!

Well done with the overdraft
. My Abbey one is really stupid in that they won't allow me to reduce mine to any less than £1000 as apparently I'm still allowed it for the next two years. It seems that the only way to get 100% rid of it is to close the account which I do want to do but then I won't be able to use it for the scratchcard account I have so it's a bit of a toss up. Natwest are much better. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
I don't think I will close mine while it is 0% but when I get all the money I am going to pay it in and just stay out of it (well that is the plan anyway).
Have just counted up all my spends for last week and did quite well , I spent 56 pounds including petrol and food. Hopefully can stick to a similar amount this week. OHs sister might be coming down at weekend but will try and stick to minimum spending.
Have paid ten pounds over to OD this morning.0 -
We just went food shopping in Asda, didn't do too bad worked out at ten pounds each.
I managed to redeem for another Amazon voucher today on Toluna, still hadn't got the last one so emailed on sat and low and behold it turned up today! I also redeemed for £5 amazon on BP the other day so will be up to 45 towards christmas presents which is good.0
