Asda tomorrow (thurs) rummour INSTORE

Went into Stafford Asda at 8am this morning.... pretty crap really, probably a 2m run of gifts all marked down but most of it was never worth £5 in the first place anyway.... could have got a few nice little "extras" at £1 each but they are the sort of presents that clutter the house up so didn't bother....

Funnily though, loads of people in there buying anything and everything like it was going out of fashion.... one woman with her arms full (why not get a trolley?) asked another woman to pile a box of something on top

"ooohh whats in there" the second woman says

"I don't know but its £1" says the other woman..... "its a christmas presesnt isn't it"

Some people would buy a tin of dog poo if it was reduced

Just back from my little expedition! I spent 20 pounds and am really pleased with what I got! I only bought things that I knew people who I knew would like as a little something extra. Had a small trolley full. I really wanted one of those pj cases but they had all gone :-(

It was Asda eastlands I went to and they didnt have much left really. They were still going round with the gun though so maybe more will be added?

when i was in at 6am a lot of the gifts with the 2 for 8 @1 pound each and 2 for 16 @2 pounds gifts the alcohol sets were not reduced as yet with alcohol they had a sign saying 8am till 10pm only but i went back down again at 9am was glad coz a got the pyjama elephant cases no tags on went to checkout and got them for 1pound original price was 9.79 but not the alcohol sets but a girl said they would go down but couldnt say when thanks em

just been tp local asda - lady said gifts are drawn from three different departments: "home and leisure" (reduced today) "health and beauty" and "wines and spirits" - the latter two categories will be reduced at some point but the staff do not know when!

what a bargain day i just had ,, i spent £60 and just worked it out that it would of cost £400 ,, thanks op , £1 and £2 sets . for ladies men , kids ,, incl Bratz hannah montanna , hsm3 , princess stuff

the newton abbot store has all the 2 for £8 reduced, the 2 for £16 will be reduced later but they wouldnt say when.

most of the 2 for £8 was the stuff you find in the pound shop anyway

I bought some pretty candle sets for £1 each so more than happy with those. Heard staff saying beauty set reduced tomorrow but not sure...
