Thats a good haul sophiesmum, I'm just going to get some water and then for my dinner. Haven't spent any money yet today, but will have after I've been to the shops. At least dinner will be free:D .

Did you have a good day with boss SL? Early start for you this morning.0 -
Great haul SM!:T
SL, it sounds as if you don't like being away from home but perhaps you could pretend you're on holiday in the evenings and staying in a nice hotel - it might help you make the most of the week? The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

What do you, do you talk to someone or just look at ads? Be interested to know as I am out of work and proactively looking. Thanks.
The only reason I went to JC twice each week is because my 2 eldest are unemployed and have to sign on. Unfortunately at different times and days. They now have to go every week as they have been unemployed for over 3 months. No advantage in going there in person-its the same jobs as on the website! Yes, it was quite a busy day with the boss, but was interesting. We had to drive to surrey, around 2 and a half hours away. I got in at the back of 6. You're right bails, I don't like being away from home much. I can't sleep very well in hotels, whether it is business or holidays. I am an old home bird I'm afraid. It's not the worst of expereinces though, you just miss being in your own house, doing what you want to do. Never mind, it's nearly half way through. We are going to Great Yarmouth tomorrow, so am goin on holiday.:D0

Hello all,
I am back. Didn't manage NSD either as was soooo hungry that went and bought roasted chicken. I know not wery frugal or OS but needs must until I can get a meal plan and stock up shopping done. I am very proud of DD. She had make some angel cakes at nursery and when she came home and saw the chicken she didn't want to eat her cakes and went for the chicken instead.
I feel better today as there are some positive things in the pipeline: possible BR and also hopfully getting my GP to investigate other avenues to get me sorted. If he won't I will insist to get a referral to a nutritionist.
Need to get DD washed and to bed. Wishing great evening everyone.
Marru
PS got some salmon whoopsied, actually it was reduced to the price where multi buy without the reduction came 4p per packet cheaper so went to see the manager and got them half price - result!!!"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

My sausage casserole served 8 for £3 so 5 portions can be frozen. DH wont touch such a concoction, Im on low carb as from today so its just for the kids. I WILL label it this time!!!
My Approved foods order came today so we have lots of juice and squash but Id be lucky if it lasts 2 weeks the ways my girls go at it. Only DS wanted to know the costs and looked through the invoice out of interest but he is the best shopper apart from me. They only charged me half postage as quite a lot out of stock-hence I put in a good sized order initially.
I did go to Co-op earlier and picked up some reduced chops but I notice that nearly all pork seems to be 10% added water etc etc so its far more expensive than it sounds. When Im in work tomorrow I will pop to the butchers and see what they have. Not necessarily to buy but to plan future purchases. I sold my first ever item on Amazon this week-a book-only have about £1.50 from it at the end of the day but otherwise I would have given it to charity shop so its £1.50 I wouldnt have had.
Dds birthday present(a ukelele) came out of last years paypal money but Im going to count it as a spend to balance out a little. And on the other hand Im not going to count the Amazon money as money in-I will just let it sit there for a while. Then when I need it more-later in the year I can spend it.
Ive bought some money off vouchers from *bay for £6.15 which will save me £17 so I will be nearly £11 up. Well- for me-that is 2 hours carp pay at work! These will get used in Waitrose. I was carefull tho to make sure I didnt buy any internet vouchers as they can be impossible to get rid of Ive found.
Bread in oven now-Im using up my breadmixes to make way for the food stacked on the worktops! Just need to make some crumble for the big apple and rhubarb(homegrown)crumble I want to cook tonight. Sadly-I cant have any-I will have to bung extra portions into the freezer away from myself.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -
Marru - good for you asserting yourself with GP - you have to look out for yourself and health is one the most important things you have
SF - homemade is nice -it shows you've put effort into it and you can make it more personal too. OH is getting his favourite choc brownies for Valentines - wrapped in sellophane and tied with pink ribbon left over from our wedding favours. I made his card by sticking tiny pink metallic heart confetti also leftover from our wedding in 2 heart shapes on a piece of sketching paper folded in two. OH is working Sat night so we're going for lunch at the same place we had our first date.
I was working today but still managed to eat well and have a NSD
Frugal low GI meals- Mr T bran flakes with a tablespoon sunflower seeds and s/s milk
- Salmon and rocket salad
- Cup of low fat organic strawberry yoghurt with tablespoon mixed unsalted nuts and raisins
- Half Mr T value skinless chicken breast cut into small pieces, baby spinach, and 4 tablespoons of bulgar wheat
- 4 pint glasses of no sugar lemon squash
- 1 can diet Coke (need to come up with solution for weekly evening class break drink)

Felt like giving up today. Had to spend £20 on course reading materials, so I'm now waaaay over budget for the week. And I'm being roped into going out tomorrow night, all because my housemate is after some girl that's going to be at this club(!). Nothing sinister, just a bit pathetic really haha.
Was out all day unexpectedly so had to buy lunch, did ok though, got a reduced sandwhich from a supermarket for 65p
Don't worry though, I shan't be giving up, just not sure how I can sort it out and get out of the red!“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
