  • Shelley - Men! I'm sure you were glad at that point he was an ex
yep that is one one of his most silly moments he has had but not as bad as the time I came home from work and he had given my other little boy away (my dog, spice), I have never forgiven him for that, he only mentioned the day before that he wanted to get rid of him because the dog was digging the lawn up, spice was a JR and I told him that, that is what JR's do, I would of been happyier if I had of given the then DH away:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

mumzy- get back to the doc's and get your kneck checked out agian, I would ask to see another doc at your surgery if you can. well done on passing your exam:T :T

So much for my NSD, I ended up in the su bar:rolleyes: only spent about £5 so not so bad:beer:

It is snowing here...no mention of it on the news though and life is continuing as normal :D
I am debating about whether to go out or clean another cupboard.

I have already built a mini snowman...bit sad on your own but he looks happy enough. One slight problem is that he is a polka-dot snowman.
I forgot about the sheep who lived in my garden last week and left little presents all over the grass which I gathered up in my snowballs :rotfl:
    Bet he's original.
But will have no friends when the sun comes out and things heat up a bit :D

Who needs pieces of coal when you can use sheep droppings! hahaha all I can say is eeeeewe ewe ewe eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew
It did make me laugh though!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
We also made a snowman-well my big kid of a daughter did! And she had to have phopos taken with it. I do like the look of it but ~I hate the practicalities as we get stuck in-the hills are too icy to negotiate and I truly fear the car getting written off or breaking my neck!
Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults
  • thanks for all the good wishes - feelinf ok now, bit worried about walking down the same hill this morning though. We haven't had any more snow but it's freezing cold and looks very icy. Don't worry, I shall be going very slowly and carefully, better late than never.

Have a good day everyone, will log in once i get home.

Nickynoo -if you're near a Mr T's, they are doing 5 birthday cards for £1, lots of good ones for little girls, DD has been choosing them for her friends and thinks they're beautiful :)

End of another working week, working from my parents was great but it was good to be back in the office yesterday (had to do some real paperwork) although of course I ended up spending about £12, but mainly on dented tins/hugely reduced clothes for DD, but still ....

Feeling really worried and stressed/sorry for myself now though, DD's nursery fees have gone up, but not by the required £10/week (just under, grrr) to make a difference to my tax credits. The increase, combined with exOH's financial disappearance, mean that I'm going to be nearly £200/month in the red every month.

Going to head over to the OS board to find out what I can make with my vast collection of dented tins, and to the up your income board to see just how hard it is to get into the mucky phonecall business, tee hee!!

Thriftylass - sorry to hear of your loss, take the time you need, we're here for you when you are up to it *hugs*
  • Thriftylass, sorry to hear about your loss, sending you hugs x

I'm snowed in again today, no buses running and it's far too dangerous on the roads to consider getting my car out. At least I've discovered h2b and I can spend nearly a week snowed into a house together and still be on speaking terms ;-)

  •   to your p i g of a neighbour bails, how rude!!! I'm glad I don't stay next to him, you'll get your own back, what goes around, comes around.

Bails I'm not one for revenge as a rule but so agree with Skint Lynne on this one. Do you have room in your garden for bonfires? A nice black smoky one when he's put a big line of (preferrably white) washing out should do the trick nicely:whistle:
