Thanks everyone for the storage suggestions - going to have a look around online and in shops over next weekend and see what I can discover.
We never see a betterware or kleeneze book here and already had a quick peek at lakeland, might have a looksie at ikea.
One of oldies has suggested cup hooks on inside of door, and then clip several packets together with large bulldog clip and hang from cup hook - quite ingenious I thought:p0 -
cheers for the tips Skint and Angel, it's only stuff that I've cooked and frozen he won't eat, says 'stuff doesn't taste right after you've frozen it' - guess he's just being a plant. He cooked frozen waffles for his breakfast on Sunday
Skint - cats hate anything citrus so putting orange/lemon peel where they are peeing may put them off. Alternatively, get hold of one of those long range water pistols and position yourself at an upstairs window:rotfl:Debt as at Feb 14: £2272.40DFW Nerd no. 1024June Overhaul #260 -

Does anyone know how to stop a cat doing it's business in your garden? My mum has one visiting her new garden and our wee dog is not best pleased. I know some of you have moggies so some tips would be appreciated. xx
Hi Lynne, I had this problem in huge quantites last year when living with neighbours both sides that had about 12 cats among them! I tried everything. Cats hate the smell of citronella, they hate walking on anything jaggy and they hate getting wet, so think of any combination of these. Then add in a few glass bottles with water inside so that light reflects and some cats confuse it with eyes of another cat glowing in the dark - they don't like confrontation when they know it isn't their home turf. I believe you can also buy tiger wee for spraying as though a bigger cat has marked the territory for their own use.:rotfl: Next up is the water cannon method of deterring feline marauders. It might sound cruel but it's just a scare tactic and doesn't hurt them. If you can be close enough when they arrive, give them a quick spray with the water (I used a spray bottle because of the hissy sound it makes) and finally, they don't like digging in rough spots, so I resorted to cuttings of holly around my veggies last year. The cats eventually got the picture and we succeeded in reducing it to just one stubbornly regular visitor that just wouldn't budge. We moved house before he did. :rotfl:

I have one of those kids wall-hanging toy-holders and the slots in it are a perfect size for packets and sauce mixes. I think I paid about 50p + P&P for mine from eBid. Sorry, forgot to mention this earlier. They are plastic and easily washed down. You can also get them for hanging over the backs of car seats but I like my yellow kiddy door hanging one.I just need to find it to hang it up in the new house!

I freeze sandwiches and slices of homemade cake for packed lunches too
grandma- i have been using the chappati flour from mr t as well i have found i can use it on its own (without adding any hard flour) if you reduce the water slightly and add a little extra yeast
I was surprised when i opened the pack as it looks white with little bits in but cooks to a light wholemeal... lovely and a litle sweet too.
Had a busy day at uni today and bought coffee in the canteen ....aaargh
Am a bit jealous of the shampoo bargains ther's none in either the b00ts i frequent

SFT - for the Orange Weds you need to check if the cinema you're going to does Orange Weds - some don't -on the Orange website you put your postcode in and it brings up a list of local ones that participate. Any film any time is fine as others have said.
Jennybee - huge congratulations on your new arrival - I'm really glad everything went well for you
I told my parents I'm taking the new job and it went better than expected. I don't think my dad understands but he does want me to be happy. They really spoiled me I got lunch, a new dress and a new cardigan bought for me! Even though I insisted I'm not broke they wouldn't let me pay. It was nice spending time with them too."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better." Paul Theroux0 -

It is the Herbal Essences range - you get 100 points for each shampoo or conditioner you buy from the range, usually these are £2 - £3 each, but they have just changed the labels/branding and any old stock in the stores is being sold off cheaply - but you still get the points on it - which means you get more points for buying it than you are paying for it -Check the price labels on the shelves to be sure. Not many bargains still about though as people out on the hunt for these bargains;)
If they have any old stock the offer will be in your boots as well:D0
