Yes, I've got to cook it. Would just buy the ready made items but they are all made with peanut oil apparently. So I've got to prepare it myself. Then take it to school and use the microwave. But will have to cook the rice fresh as you can't reheat it can you.
I don't mind. But if I can't find a recipe we might have to give it a miss.
Like to sort ideas ASAP so I don't spend my whole weekend worrying about it.

DD called into local S'flds on the way here to collect elder GD -- and asked why I'd not told her something. Notices weren't up when I went yesterday evening, so clearly gone up today -- about to head down and check them out myself.
We have a C00p and a S'fld within spitting distance of each other, so with C00p taking over S'fld one or the other was clearly going to have to go. We've been waiting and waiting for an announcement (I was quietly hoping C00p would move into S'fld which is bigger, as the current C00p is about the size of the closest Icel@nd -- which is inconvenient to get to from here, and the chain that was rumoured to be a possibilty to take over that site).
Turns out C00p are staying put, and our S'fld is becoming a Mr M.
They're not a store I've used in yeeeeears (only time I've lived "close" to one was in my first house, and we moved from there in August 1991  even that one was about the 3.5-4 mile round trip shortest route walk that I now do for Mr T, but I used to do it with a buggy for elder DS -- double buggy for the last month due to arrival of younger DS! -- and DD on a first size pushbike with stabilisers!!!)
So it's going to be interesting to see what this does to my grocery budget, and how much it reduces my need to walk up to Mr T when I need anything more than milk, fruit & veg.......Cheryl0 -

Yes, SFT you can reheat rice! You have to watch out because cooked rice is vulnerable to bacteria but you can make it one day, keep in the fridge and reheat the next. I've never had any problems with that.'Whatever you dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin now.' Goethe
