Some days I feel like that sf, I read but then don't feel like I can contribute anything and get a bit frustrated that I have nothing to write about, other days I can come out with all sorts of carp:rotfl:
As long as you are okay:D
Just a thought for anyone who likes lists/planning I use this site;
https://www.rememberthemilk.com/help/guide/
it is a really useful tool, I think it may have been Andan who introduced me to it on the dfw thread - it might help someone get organised.:D0 -
its just one of those days! lol :rotfl:sophiesmum wrote: »Some days I feel like that sf, I read but then don't feel like I can contribute anything and get a bit frustrated that I have nothing to write about, other days I can come out with all sorts of carp:rotfl:

My reviews are pretty huge. I can't help it, I tend to use five words when two will do, and I'm opinionated, and I have a lot to say haha!
Most of mine were quite big too, it's just that when you see what some other people have written it makes you realise that you could do a quicker one (mind you, I don't think they actually tell me much, i prefer the longer ones).0 -

Hi everyone! I have to agree with bails that I'm loving reading this thread :T I'm sorry I don't have enough time to contribute often or reply to everyone but I really like being part of this community
so thank you to everyone who posts - it's particularly nice to see whitewing posting again. Sorry to hear about your greenhouse, nyk; I hope you're bearing up OK in the bad weather.
Some money fell out of my purse and some nice tops jumped into my hand in the Monsoon sale as well, skint_chick... I have a general personal rule of not buying clothes other than in sales, which is good overall, but means that when things do have a good discount on them I tend to persuade myself quite easily
Got some lovely things though and will make the £56.81 left in my clothes budget last till the end of the year.
OH just left - he visited me on the way up to his uni, which is in the north, and insisted that I didn't have to give him anything for the travel
bless him. I did blow £20 on some books on Amazon, though, when I was getting stressed about the internship applications I am doing. I stupidly didn't do any price comparisons since I was feeling stressed and got the books on impulse to calm myself down  Hopefully they will be useful, though.
I've passed the halfway mark in my budget now  so need to be careful now!
Thinking of you all

Hi Everyone!!
Nyk-So sorry about the greenhouse.
Sounds like everyone is having a productive day.
I'd love to know about this Qype review thing too. If thats ok MrDT or Lingo
SM-Glad the migrane has gone.
Shaz-Congrats on your gardening.
Can't wait to hear the good news from JennyBee.
Well we've had a productive day.
Went down to tesco at reductions time (not a certainty) and picked up 3 packs of Richmond's sausages 48p each, 6 loaves of bread 20-36p each, I butter chicken curry (for OH) 75p, 2.2 litres of ss milk 38p. We were very lucky and appreciate that. I think we have nearly everything we need for Feb's main dinners now and most bread.
Also picked up a Tesco Finest Christmas pudding for £3 (reduced from £10). Will use it as part of a gift for my dad for Father's or Birthday. He only 'accepts' useful gifts..doesn't want anything he can't use or has to dust.
May pop up to the local later for a drink or pudding. But watching Ocean's twelve now so may not happen.
On a positive note we both decided we're heading for the country asap. Once kitchen is finished we will be putting bungalow up for sale. We're carry on doing the place up but if someone wants to buy it before then we'll accept. Had a look at Nyk's beautiful view/ her blog and read others comments about giving up the pressurised job. We were going to wait until we'd cleared the mortgage but you've 'got to get busy living'.
Have a great evening everyone.

Ok, hope this works, I'm not good at links, but you just go to -
http://www.qype.co.uk/
then click on the virgin box on the right hand side (it's huge, you can't miss it) then you have to register and you can start. I found it easy after the first few, just think of all the places you shop/eat/drink and then anything else in your area (optician, vet,gp etc). I've reviewed practically everywhere in my (largish) village, which is good because most people in the area have done places in town. You get £1 if you're the first to review somewhere, 50p if someone beat you to it. When you get to £50 you just have to wait for them to ok it and then the voucher should come in February.
this may be a better link

edited to say the most time consuming bit was locating everywhere on the maps, they always put me about 3 miles away!

slowlyfading - Do you have a camping/outdoor shop or sports shop near you? I know you can get them from there, normally around £10ish. I got mine from Special K, but I keep forgetting to use it
. Must try harder!!
