This is my first post (ever!) and I hope I am in the right place.

I had an interview with CCCS on Thursday and I am just about to write my first letters to my creditors enclosing my affordable payment as advised by CCCS (The start of DMP?).

I can't seem to get it out of my head that some or all the creditors will reject it and go for enforcement action - county court/bankruptcy etc.

    Can anyone help?

Hi I'm fairly new on here too and my worries are the same. I don't know the answers sorry but thought I'd say hello anyway. I am looking back through old posts and most of the things suggested or advise is invaluble. I'm finding it difficult to keep much in my head at the mo though!!
    Good luck x

If you have online banking you can usually do it instantly online, if you havent you can go into the branch and do it. When ever I have cancelled any the company has written to me for new details. If you want to keep the policy just ring them with your new details. Hope this helps.

Hi did I read somewhere that G E Money and Alliance and Leicester are now merged? I've checked payplan and unable to find A/L anywhere. Also googled but can't find either. Just have debt with G E Money and planning on using A/L account.

I've got the same problem - I've got a storecard with GE so I hope they arent going to try and raid my A&L account. I'm in the process of moving everything over to my new Halifax account though so hopefully it will be ok.

It's rather risky hoping... Open up a basic account with no ties and no overdraft and start afresh. It will prob mean though that any existing OD debt will need to be added.
