    to work out payments.

the debt. X the total DMP payment.

    divided by your total debt.

example my debt is 68 pounds my DMP is 100 my total debt is 37122.92 pence so

    68 X 100 divided by 37122,92 = 18 pence per month

    then onto the next debt
three things for the life ahead

CCCS base your DMP payments on the contractual Payment.

Payplan base them on the amount of debt.

I'm with Payplan and prefer their way - seems fairer to me that my biggest debts get allocated the most.

As far as I know they still haven't accepted mine (that was as of last week)! Them and Tesco card. But they have taken the money as i can still check online. But are still charging interest and charges!! Nastywest is indeed correct!!! ;)

Payplan told me it can take a while for some so try not to worry! Have you actually started yet? If so how long? CCCS will keep on trying!

    Hiya,
Yes I started in Feb so they've had the first payment and will get the 2nd tomorrow.:o

Hi MM - CCCS sent my stuff off for n/w overdraf, cc and loan - both the cc and loan rejected within days - the cc has since accepted but the od has now rejected as well!

my understanding from reading on here is that NW generally take a few months of DMP payments before they accept.

    HTH

Its so ironic that Natwest actually advertise CCCS's and Payplan's services on their leaflets and online, then refuse/deny all knowledge of notification etc.
And to think that I only opened an account with them 25 years ago cuz I wanted the Piggies. Oh well.........

Did most of your creditors accept the DMP?

I am with CCCS for my DMP and yes they do base the repayment calculation on the contractual monthly payment amount at the start of your DMP.
I have been paying on this basis for the past 2 years with no complaints from any of my creditors.
I am sure everything will work out ok.
