CCCS DMP Start 1st May 2009
DFD 2020:beer: :j0 -
Hi all!
Had our review letter through, have to call CCCS to arrange.
Received SAR stuff from Lloyds for my card, waste of my bloody ten quid if you ask me, haven't sent what I specifically asked for just staements for year 03-04!! The account finished in 2006, it's obvious they have totally ignored the letter I sent, just fobbing me off I think
MBNA sent through OH card stuff from 2003 and guess what? they are having trouble locating signed credit agreement and will send it on as soon as they have forge... ahem found it!
If our original creditors haven't got agreements then the likes of Moorcroft have nothing at all! So it will save the hassle of even bothering to reply.
hope everyone is doing ok, just popped on to catch up on posts.DMP support thread member 211 :cool:I'm only here to get some medals......honest!0 -
Hi all
Hoe everybody had a good mother's day.
Quick question - I have received my letter from CCCS asking for statements etc and am getting this together at the moment and hope to send it back to them early next week.
They have enclosed a letter for me to photocopy and send to my creditors with a box to insert the start date. When would this actually be - 1st May or 1st June. Would 1st May be enough time for CCCS to contact all my creditors? Can I chose for it to be 1st June to save a bit of money? Typical, the car is really playing up today and may well have to spend a bit of money on this!
Thanks

Hi all,
Just popped in for a moment...I have to stay on the ball or I am up here catching up all night otherwise!!
Money buster, I've done the court and charging order thing...and really want to make sure everyone knows that it's not scary!!! Ok...a little scary...but really not that bad!
I feel like I keep going on about it but I think it is the biggest scariest thing that these people keep threatening us with and we need to stick together! Knowledge is power and all that!!
The charging order is a piece of paper and at the end of the day..if you don't want to move for the next however long, you could wipe your bum on it and your creditor wouldn't know....don't recommend this...as it would make your file smell!!
Forget who mentioned it, but our biggest creditor was the same company as our mortgage lender and it hasn't impacted either way so hopefully NR will be ok too,
All good today, possibly due to no post on a sunday?!?
Feeling positive for the week ahead.
Em xREMEMBER...ALWAYS KEEP SMILING!

Hi WoS
CCCS told me that if your info reaches them after 15th of the month this is too late to start the next calendar month and so will be the month after i.e. 6 weeks later. However, having said that I sent all mine back on 19th Feb and they set it up in time for March which i wasnt expecting and hadnt budgeted for so i just called them and they changed it to April, this gave us a little breathing space to put an emergency fund together. I think within reason you can start whenever is best for you but i guess the sooner you start the better.

Hiya,
If you request that all communications are in writing only, then they MUST comply with your request otherwise they are breaking Office of Fair Trading guidelines in debt collection.
If they keep on calling you. Report them for it.
Cocker:)
Thanks....am I missing something though because I note that alot of people on here say they get hassled by calls. So have these people requested communication in writing and it is being ignored...?DMP with PayplanDMP Support number 287Trying to lose lbs and save £££s!0 -
Hi all
Im in the process of starting a DMP with Payplan. I had my first phone interview yesturday morning and it went really well.
I have just shy of 30k of depts and would pay around £270 per month for 8 years compared to £660 that I do currently.
What is the next step? What statements or paperwork will I have to produce? Im assuming bank statements and so on but im not sure. Any help would be really appreciated.0 -

Hi,
I have my forms ready to post off tomorrow. I have put my DMP start date as May, I am sending token payments of £5 in April and keeping the money saved that would normally go on my minimum payments as emergency money. I am assuming that this gives them enough time to set up the DMP as it is over a month.
As far as I am aware you choose the start month that you want so is up to you.DMP with PayplanDMP Support number 287Trying to lose lbs and save £££s!0 -
Does anyone know how CCCS work out how the payment is distributed to your creditors?DMP with PayplanDMP Support number 287Trying to lose lbs and save £££s!0

I believe it's down to contractual payments with your creditors?DMP mutual support thread No: 2430
