Is there a bit on payplan near your creditor list that says whether they have accepted or not?
Just curious as have everything else on there

Hi all,
Just caught up on the last few pages of posts...
Nothing new with me; still ignoring my mobile, RBS sent me a letter today about my arrears but it seems to be from a separate department than the previous letter. Think this must be because they are automatically generated......
Haven't heard from the majority of my creditors, nothing from Next, Littlewoods or Freemans and nothing from Barclaycard either.
Stashing cash big time from March payday and sending tokens again - aiming to start DMP on May 1st.
Hope everyone is well

Just a quick update (ok, just re-read it..not so quick!),
Just got back for court (Oh the Joy), Hitachi finally got round to making good their threats....Again, a really nice bloke who talked us through what was going on etc etc (I really am blessed in some ways me thinks!!:D)
Anyway, they are going to accept the offer now and will stop the interest. Well thats them off my back for the next 8 years...
not sure what Nationwide are up to?!?They took us to court, agreed an amount (which we pay!) and were going for a charge on the house.. I had heard nothing more until my loan statement arrived when I realised they were still adding interest, Can I do anything about this? or I am I best leaving the nasty scary fire breathing dragon asleep as long as possible?
I hate HSBC, I am beginning to think they can see into my life and hit that call button at the most annoying of times on purpose!!! Shopping, friends round, family round etc etc..aaaarrrgggh!!!
Have to say, all CC's are very quiet and not charging interest at the moment..bonus:j :j
Going to go file things now...feeling positive, 1 year in and the going is good!,
Em x
Hi - gd news from hitachi then - not sure about the nationwide but i guess if the charge hasnt actuallt gone on then you could leave things as they are.
Can i ask a question re court....do you have to get a solicitor / representative etc and pay for them or do your DMP company supply someone? and do you actually have to go yourself or can it happen without you being there? I'm very confused about this part of nthe whole process and would like to feel a bit more prepared.

And today's post is....
Capital one statement - no mention of £1 token payment but default charge and interest added
MBNA statement - £5 token payment deducted and.... wait for it.... no interest or default charges  MBNA were the ones who have rejected my DMP payment as being too low so I don't know whats going on there
MBNA letter - Notice of sum in arrears

God you lot chat too much! It's took me ages to read through tut tut!
:rotfl: Evening all! Hope everyone is doing well, really good to see lots of questions and answers, it really does help us all! Really annoyed that the creditors seemed to have forgotten us! WRITE TO US godammit! We aren't scared anymore and want to fight back!
I wrote to Capital One a few weeks ago after receiving my SAR and asked for the true copy of my agreement becuase they had only sent me a blank one, it could have been anyone's! . Had an interesting letter today from Capital One about my ppi; according to them I called them on the 5th of the month to ask for ppi, interesting that my SAR and statements revealed the account was opened on the 17th isn't it? Anyway as a gesture of goodwill they are offering me £100!!
Funny how before I would have snapped their hand off to except but I have calculated over £200 they should refund and I am sick of the way the creditors treat people and so I've already sent it to the FOS to complain/look at so I think I'll write to Ms Renshaw and decline their offer just because I can.
Amamzing what you can do with a SAR request and with the right wording in a letter how the creditors sort of back down and offer your own money back isn't it eh? hmmm
KEEP FIGHTING BACK PEOPLE!! :T (Sorry for shouting!)
oh and thanks to Kudox and Maz for my pms :rotfl: just realised what I wrote!pms = private messages

did you do the full SAR request i.e. sent them £10 or just ask for a CCA?

SAR request for all of them because we are reclaiming payment protection insurance (ppi) for 11 creditors and we needed to know what the full amounts were.
Sent a CCA request to Halifax card because they stated to charge reduced interest but had a letter back saying they have now stopped interest
still waiting to see what Moorcroft, Lowells and Debt Recovery come up with (they are the nice DCA's who wrote to OH mums house threatening the SAS, FBI etc!! )
So far NOT ONE CREDITOR has come up with the appropriate paperwork for any of our accounts
I don't fully understand all the ins and outs of the law but I have learnt alot since being on here and using the Consumer Action forum I know that creditors need certain paperwork, without it you put yourself in a better position for full and finals, stopping interest and getting them to accept payments etc. :beer:DMP support thread member 211 :cool:I'm only here to get some medals......honest!0
