    Morning all

Have noticed some people talking about I&E what does this mean?
ALso a lot of people seem to be taking about requesting their CCA or SAR (what does this mean ?) and is this something I would need to be doing? How would it helP??

Sorry for all the annoying questions:eek:

    I&E is basically SOA.

SAR is getting a list of all the charges on your account and CCA is seeing if the debt is enforceable. I don't see the point of requesting a CCA from banks & cc company's as it's not like you don't know what the debt is and that you took it out, kind of like I spent now I don't want to pay.
  • We've done CCAs/SARs on a couple of accounts for the express reason that while I am more than happy to pay back through a DMP I am not happy to be taken to court (potentially for charging orders) when I am cooperating & paying as much as I possibly can. Nor do I feel particularly charitable towards banks who refuse to cooperate (or indeed penalise those in difficulty - MBNA who doubled our APR the instant they knew I had been made redundant  ) - if a debt is unenforcable through the courts I want to know that. It has nothing to do with trying to avoid the debt or denying it is mine.

Got paid today, done a final run through of the budget with CCCS, got my paperwork together, allocated money for everyone - now just waiting for the new pack to arrive from them.

Got a funny text from Aegis yesterday 'you need to call us tomorrow' - yeah right & who exactly are you?

Oh & can I have a number please?

    Hi cheesypuff

I think that some people request CCAs and SARs when creditors are being particularly awkward or harrassing - if the debt is proven to be unenforceable they can hardly complain if you carry on making reduced payments!

I&E stands for income and expenditure.

Don't worry about asking questions we have all been there and thats what this forum is all about.:D

I am with payplan and Lloyds have added about £10k interest on our accounts.
I have asked Payplan about this and they say just that '' they will TRY and sort any interest near the end BUT they can't promise anything''

I have tried to find out if anyone has had any luck with Lloyds but no one seems to be able to help. I have a debt free debt of July 2011 on my Payplan account but that will change if interest is not removed at end of plan

they have added a load onto you. I have prob £1500 at most added by any creditor. I think I'm only out by a few £1000 in total.
Do you get letters to say that your 6 months is up etc and you are no longer on a payment plan? I don't, but get calls all the time to phone then. Only know realising that it the reason, I don't answer the 01273 number just phone the 0845 one as it's in this country and they have been okay so far. Except the time some idiot decided to tell me I no longer had a loan or od with them lol I wish.

Oh I'm not saying people should go for CCA's or SAR's. I will at some point SAR all my creditors to find out all the charges.

My DFD is May 2011 and want to bring it into 2010

they said the same to me c7sdus!! and he also said that it nearly always works! but obviously it's not guarateed! not sure about lloyds, i think my problem one on this is going to be natwest!

guess i'll just have to wait and see! i so hope my date stays the same and doesn't go later due to a bank charging me constantly!

incidentally have you tried to claim back charges? coz i've also heard that if you do that they are more likely to stop them now!! i'm going to try it in a couple of months when the dmp is nice and settled!

I've tried with Nationwide and still get charges on my OD with be paying it off soon.

I think I'll try claiming for my 3 accounts with Lloyds - loan, cc and OD. Can you claim on a loan? will go the Financial O route though.
