Mine not a lever arch Stolli,it boring normal one. Think may take me a while to adjust to the whole DMP thing,am almost scared of having money in my bank account, does that make sense? was just mulling over thought of buying a new lever arch file(!) and felt guilty, will I ever go and buy something non-essential again and feel ok about it???:o
Yes it does make sense. I can't believe that I got paid a week ago and I've paid all my debts, put money aside for future debts, got my grocery money to one side and I've STILL got some cash in my account. Normally I would be trying to work out how to juggle my money to pay off a credit card or wondering when was the latest I could get to a bank to make a payment. It really is a great feeling despite the phone calls and post. At the moment I'm feeling very positve but I'm sure there will be down days as well and thats why I love this thread - for the support, advice and smiles! :D

Thankyou Hope, I get the feeling that many of us are pretty similar on here-shoulder everyone else's problems and never let on with our own? people I work with always say am so calm and "sorted"-ha! if only they knew am proverbial swan and my little feet are paddling away madly;)

Hope you go and have a fab weekend, forget about your worries for a while x

Anyone else swapped to Tesco mobile too?

I saw their adverts for the free credit and changed from T-Mobile. I only use my mobile as and when and prefer pay as you go plus you get clubcard points too!

Every little helps as they say. I never ever got any offers from T-mobile so had nothing to lose really by changing.

Haven't looked at Tesco Mobile yet? I was on O2 paying about 30 quid a month, and ended up with Virgin on a no contract sim only, for a tenner a month (300 mins & texts), also found out recently that I can get internet access on the phone (yes I know normally v.expensive) for only 30p a day PAYG. Pretty good I thought?

My first payment after halving my DFD went out today... should be fun budgeting this month.... but I'm quietly confident. I seem to do very well on no money, it's having money that's the problem (Must put that on my epitaph, or whatever you call it!)!

  • Hope no matter how down you feel in the real world, there will always be people on here to support and advise you xxx ;) it is hard to feel happy when you have the debt cloud hanging over you but it will get better. I have cried so many times over our situation.

A few months ago I thought I would lose it, OH is in the bulding trade and he was told there was no work, we had the problems and pressure of checking out his entitlement to benefits, changing the DMP payments, it was like everything was falling apart.

Now things have picked up and I feel different, stronger like I want to fight back. I still have the odd moments when I get peed off with it all but I am not frightened anymore like I used to be. It does get easier, honest ;)

  • I know I can't understand how one person can get such a whacking pension? It is unbelievable that one person can be worth that much money, be interesting to see how Gordy Brown tries to get it back.

Making out he didn't know anything, like the public are fools!
