Hi my OH has in head in the sand when it comes to money, he just says don't worry, its only money.... ok so who is going to pay the bills then!!! He can't understand why I need to communicate with others, what else... just look at him at worry myself sick..........I feel much better reading all these posts

Stolli,am worried. You have a "lovely lever arch file"?!!!! What colour? Do you stroke it?!! Think we all turning into neat freaks and you know what?I know I have a child but the bit about the old lady and Alsatians from Bridget really bothers me...Think I use the filing as a displacement activity- I am organised, I am a good person etc not a bad, overspending,chocolate guzzling nut chained to my laptop:rotfl: !

Yes it can become obsessive but hey at least its a free obsession!

Looking for love website... chance would be a fine thing! Can't see anyone wanting to take me on with my debts... wonder if any potential love interest would wait 10 years until they are all paid off???

Hi all, not been on here for about a week and have given up trying to catch up with the posts, it would take me all night.:rotfl:
Have been busy trying to sort out a payment plan with OH creditors since his finances are very complicated due to being self employed. Reduced payment offers have all been made so we'll see what happens now.
The DMP with cccs is just for my creditors, and it's been a bit if a nightmare really RBS are especially hard to deal with, they are still charging me interest even though I'm on an official DMP so dont hold out too much hope they will accept for OH without a fight.
I've wrote to them more than once asking them to stop since the payment I'm making is less than the interest but they just ignore my letters completetly.
Anyone else had better luck with RBS?
I guess I just have to accept that you can't win em all:eek:

I think it could be very isolating being in debt if you didn't have this site and be able to vent to others in similar positions.

When you are busy at work you can switch off from the debt because you have other things to concentrate on but when you come home you are reminded of it as soon as you walk through the door, from the post, when you chat to each other etc.

Sounds like my OH, he just doesn't get how I can tell all about us I say but thats how I know things, thats why we are getting ppi back, I'm trying to understand the way creditors work. If I didn't join here I would be still bricking it thinking I was going to court for ccj's and hiding from baliffs!
