My worry is-got paid today in my N/W account (wages going to new bank next month) so have done a manual transfer for the wages to go in new one tomorrow was quickest I could do as didnt have a card reader and to do via a standing order,my Q is....will this be ok? I am being paranoid as I sent my letters with token payments in today although obv not my bank. Just wondered why people alwats say they want to withdraw monies cash and not by Transfer have I done something awful?
Thanks guy's (am addicted to this thread!)

How's things?
Hi TP, cheers for your thoughts:beer:
I'm fine just been a bit swamped lately what with one thing or another.
You're right it is fast moving thread at the moment, difficult to catch up if you don't make it online for a few days.
Trying to sort things out with OH creditors is a bit of a nightmare and is taking up a lot of time but hopefully we'll get there in end.
Hope all ok with you how did you go on with the no smoking thing or should I not mention it. OH is having another crack at it so we'll see how that goes:eek:DMP Support Thread Member 238DMP started October 20080 -

, I feel I have not had a proper nights sleep since December since I decided to start my reclaiming ppi and card charges. But you have to remember the research pays off and you do become wiser because you now know what the creditor can and can't do. I now have MSE, CAG, FLA and Financial Ombudsman in my favourites!
:rotfl: :rotfl: and I thought I was the only one who couldn't sleep because of the reclaiming lark - it takes over your life - it's like a full-time job. I can only concentrate on one at a time - then when I look at how much they've taken from me over the years I get mad, then can't sleep as I lie awake plotting revenge  Has anyone had any joy claiming back the £12 charges or do they only pay up if the charges were in excess of that? At the moment one of my creditors is whacking on £24 per mont but cleverly disguising this as £12 over limit fee and £12 late payment fee - in my reclaim should I just lump them together as £24?No more credit for me - I will no longer live beyond my means :A

Hi Bexxie.. I'm not sure if this helps but I remember CCCS telling me that if I didn't get my salary paid into my new account I could take a letter in to my old bank advising them of my 'First Right of Appropriation'. This meant that they couldn't use the money that was paid in to pay off any of debts owed to them before priority debts were paid. If you google it I'm sure there will be template... or maybe on national debtline website?

Sorry Bexxie I don't understand what you asking, I'm not too sure how standing orders work but if they do manual transfer your money should be ok. I suppose cash would be best as you know you have withdrawn the lot.

Bexxie90 are you worried NW will use your wages to pay other debts you owe them?
I think people usually withdraw the cash cos it's quickest but if you're saying the transfer will take place tomorrow can't see there being a problem.
Sorry if I'm missing something didn't catch your earlier posts
Hope this helps a bit.DMP Support Thread Member 238DMP started October 20080 -
Hiya.. posted this on my other thread but didn't have much success... Can anyone on here help please?
"Just got home to find a letter from Rish Management Alternatives. Apparently MBNA have instructed them to contact me to secure repayment of the overdue amount (1 month) to bring my account up to date.
Anyone know anything about RMA? Should I just ignore it?
I'm sending off my notice of DMP to MBNA tomorrow (doing it with CCCS) and also £1 token payment etc."Light Bulb Moment 4th January 2009 :eek:Started DMP 1st April 2009 :ADMP mutual support thread member: 267 :j0 -
