Hi YM, you are having a "duvet day" as far as your BR is concerned. having a break doesn't hurt. you know you will get it done before your BR day so there is nothing to worry about. Holiday sounds good.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0

Friday 16th January 2009...60 days to go
Well I have had my little break and it actually done me some good. It was nice to sit back a little and not feel under pressure to get the forms done and the DD'S and S/O could wait for a couple of days.
Still not completed many things on my list although I am now up to 84% on my online forms. Hardest bit of that was trying to remember dates at houses when I have moved 7 times in 8 years  Was not trying to escape anybody just trying to get myself and family sorted out after my divorce.
At work ATM and not very busy so lets me sort forms out but have to be carefull who is peering over my shoulder as I do not want the world to know my buisness at the moment.
The calls have not started yet but should start very soon I reckon. I read something on another forum which basically said try not to think of everything that could go wrong and just go with the flow.Try not to work yourself into a tizzy over something that may not occur. I will try and think like that myself.
I have no assessts only a car that is 11 years old, done 175,000 miles and worth about £800. I reckon I may get an IPA hopefully for not too much per month and I may get a BRO as I had a holiday 4 months before the BR paid for with Overdraft. Just be a matter of how long. So all in all nothing too drastic and certainly not life threating. Even with a possible IPA all done before I am 50 (46 now). Better than 58 with DMP I was on
Hope you are all well and take care

Good Morning ym - Missed your posts this week. Glad to hear that you are well and everything is OK.
It is like the mental agility test of the Krypton factor at times having to remember all the dates and whys and wherefores but I am sure you will get there eventually....
Have a good day..

Saturday 17th January 2009...59 days to go
Hi
Recieved a default notice yesterday from Argos. Seeing as I owe them £490 odd pound out of a total of £28,000 (represents 1.75% of total debt ) they seem to be rather eager beavers to get their money. Will have to find a solution regarding this matter as I still have a fair way to go until court date.
Have posted seperate thread regarding that matter

Checked online with one of my other creditors and they have started adding interest again after 2 years on a DMP. They are not even aware they will not be getting any money this month either.
All of the above just re inforces to me the correct decision and path I have chosen to follow.
Nothing much planned this weekend. Will go with what comes up I think.
Have a great weekend everyone

Forgot to mention that my budgeting seems to be going OK this month. Petrol money looks Fine and hopefully got enough for groceries left (£92).
Seems weird not having credit to fall back on. Weird ,but in the same respect, good IYNWIM
Thats it now as my 14 togger will be calling me soon
Night Night

14 togs - Good grief man, where do you live - in the South Pole?
I thought it was us laydees that always feel the cold, especially those of us who do not have a masculine hot water bottle!
Nice to hear that you are plotting a steady course towards BR - I am convinced I made the right decision. Little day to day issues, especially with the banking side of things seem small in comparison to the cr*p I had beforehand.
I do miss my old Visa Debit card though - never a problem.
Have a great weekend.....

Just when I thought I had got the hang of budgeting and having money set aside for emergencys I think my washing machine is on the way out
Not a detective or nothing but the sound was like marbles going around in the drum. Only trouble is I have not had time to build up an emergency fund
Deep Joy

Sunday 18th January 2009...58 days to go
Morning all
Starting to gather a bit of a slow snowball effect at the moment. What with one of my creditors charging interest Cap one have now applied a £12 charge for non payment.
You can easily see how these things mount up
To be expected though but, on a good note, my washing machine seems OK again so fingers crossed on that one
Not up to a lot today and then work again tomorrow
Have a super Sunday
