Thursday 8th January 2009...68 days to go
Morning :hello:
Still no news yet regarding Payplan and my non payment this month but should register soon as they generally recieve it about now. Have been in touch with work regarding my pension details for the online forms. I stopped paying into the pension about 2 years ago as I needed the money to live now as I was really struggling. I know I should be thinking of old age but needs must and I will deal with that if and when i get there. If I keep up with this Wii Fit lark I probably wont.
Still waiting for my Co op card to come through and I also had an agreement to sign from First direct regarding my new re arranged reduced payments set up last year from my DMP. Will not be sending that off and should hear from them soon.
I should not start to hear from Halifax until the start of next month and ditto with Capital one as they are still OK accounts at the moment.
My creditors are
Egg
First Direct
Argos
Capital one
Halifax
Will let you know who gets in touch first
I have waffled enough so will get on
Have a great day

Friday 9th January 2009...67 days to go
Morning all
Just phoned Council and will pay my rent for Feb/March by debit card from my Nat west account. Did not seem the hassle setting up a S/O for 2 months and then requesting another one when the Tax year/rent year begins in April. Should be able to set that up from my Co op account. So that is another S/O cancelled and partly rearranged.
Done the same thing with my Council Tax. Just cancelled the DD as i do not pay in Feb/March so will set it up from the Co op account when it begins again in April.
No calls yet so not too bad
Have a good day

Don't bank on hearing from them much - when I reduced my DMP payments they sent an agreement to con me into agreeing to pay the whole remaining debt on the 12th payment. Then sent a letter to say how concerned they were that I hadn't signed it, and enclosing another copy.
Then nothing. Not even an interest increase, phone call or anything
But that's when carrying on with the reduced DMP payments of courseworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Thanks for that newlywed.
Nice to hear from you. Hope things are well

Things will be fine, once end of January payday rolls round :rotfl:
Still not building up my emergency fund or my car tax/mot fund so likely to be in another sticky mess come end of April but otherwise, it's all going ok. Can't seem to get a grip on food budget since it just seems to keep going up and up.
I've paid off 1/4 of my debt now so I'm quite chuffed on that, still owe more than my year's salary thoughbut working on it.
If me or OH loses our job though - I'll be joining you on here. Seeing others on here go through it all, and seeing all the help that's given on here, makes it seem less scary and easier to think of as a possibility if the job situation takes a turn for the worse. Strange kind of comfort I know.
How you holding up? You sound like you're doing ok and being very organised?working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Yeah I am not too bad. Seems a long way off though and keep thinking of the worst but even that is not as bad as the option that was left to me. It will only be for a short while and it will be sorted. To be honest I struggled with the DMP from the start and was leaving myself well short each month to do anything or to have a life.
Well done on paying a1/4 of your debt off though :T and you are right about this board.
Everyone on here makes it seem less scary
Hope your jobs are Ok and I know what you mean about trying to build up funds for things and the grocery shopping

I am really nervous - not about the judge and court but about the OR afterwards.
I was using my c/c's right up until booking the BR .... It all happened within 48 hours and I don't want them to think I was borrowing on the strength of not paying it back.....
You know how it is...... worry, worry, worry despite some great reassuring on here...

Hey everthing will work out OK. My DS had a nintendo for xmas which broke. I had to take it back to the shop and the colour I wanted was not available so I had to have a refund onto the card I brought it with. It so happened it was my Credit card.
My OH got another one on her card so I had to take the money refunded onto my CC out to pay her one off that was used to buy it.
This is all after I have applied for BR. Dont know what the OR will think of that but I am going to be honest and just tell them what happened.
The worst that could happen is a IPA for 3 years. My DMP would have taken8/9
You will be fine and look forward to hearing how you got on and panicked needlessly on Monday
