Monday 5th January 2009...71 days to go
Had a lazy one today. Tried to ring Payplan yet again to no avail  so will leave it now until they ring me when they realise my payment has not arrived this month. It is not as If I have not tried. 4 calls requesting a call back and loads of emails.
Hope you all have a good one

Tuesday 6th January 2009...70 days to go
Hi
Have decided now instead of faffing around with S/O and DD going into my Nat West and then to my Co oP 2 months later that I am going to cut out the middle man and start using my Cashminder. Problem now sorted with spelling of Surname so just waiting for a new card and PIN to arrive.
I will get my wages paid into it and then sort out Payments. I will be using it as my main account and when the time comes I will let the OR know that I opened it specifically to use slightly pre and after BR.
As someone said it is not the OR that closes the account but the banks and as I told them i am going BR it should be OK.If the worst comes to the worst and it is frozen I have enough time to get it sorted before I get paid at the end of the month and my bills come out on the 1st.
There is some benifit in having plenty of time and god knows how you have coped those who are up soon. Only have admiration for you all

hiya just a quickie re calls etc I realised after setting up and iva for me and oh last Jan that we just couldnt meet payments by last march so stopped paying iva and mortgage and everything else apart from essentials. Once I did that I knew the inevitable would happen and house was repossessed in Nov (we actually left it in Sept) and everyone was chasing us - now instead of being worried sick that the worst was gonna happen I had decided that already myself so did not answer the phone always left it to go to answer machine and told everyone I knew to always start talking cos would pick up then and just opened letters and put in a box which i am going through now as br date is friday. Still get calls as kept number when moved and letters as having them redirected but looking forward to next week when i can answer the phone and tell em all I am br :O)
key points balls to em all!!!!!!!!! LOL sorry had some wine, spent 4 years worried sick trying to do the right thing and actually ended up where I tried not to be and missed out on 4 years of life AND if I do add up what I have actually paid I bet I have paid back and more what was loaned anyways
YM defo leave cashminder clear until BR, even if you have to pay the bills manually for a month they will be ok :O)BR 9th Jan 2009 - Discharged 9th Jan 2010

Hi ym,
Did you look into that BT call feature I was telling you about?
I have had one call so far - on an 0845 number. I didn't bother answering, but that is all and I have got 7 creditors/7 defaults and a DCA from a million years ago chancing their luck. Very, very quiet - well worth the money!

As I have not had any calls yet and are not getting on my nerves I will leave it a little while.
Will use it though. Very good feature to have in my armoury
