Angel Delight!...butterscotch flavour with crushed ginger biscuits in the bottom of dish. Or strawberry with trifle sponges or sponge fingers underneath it...mmmmm
Mmmmmmm, butterscotch Angel Delight is yum, haven't had it since I was a child and it used to put my teeth on edge, even so, I remember it being heaven!!!0 -
My lot love Chinese Style banana fritters:
Peel bananas
Make up a pkt of batter mix- quite thick (9p in ASDA)
Batter bananas
Deep fry till golden brown and drain
Drizzle with golden syrup (or any kind of syrup you fancy)
Really easy and tastes yummy!0 -
frozen desserts are always cheaper than fresh ie cheesecakes, gateuxs, but a more frugal way is to make simple ingredients stretch ie turning fruit into crumbles or stewing it for icecream, also most supermarkets do things like swiss rolls for 15p and victoria sponges for 50p in their own brand or value range0

Not got a slow cooker. Might post on freecycle for one see if I can get one."I, on the other hand, am a fully rounded human being with a degree from the university of life, a diploma from the school of hard knocks, and three gold stars from the kindergarten of getting the sh*t kicked out of me." ~ Capt. We do something similar with the Butterscotch 'Instant Whip' - we much preferred Instant Whip to Angel Delight!
I break up 2 Hobnobs in the bottom of a bowl and then add sliced banana, the butterscotch Instant Whip then goes on the top. Add some crushed Flake to make it a bit more 'special'! I don't think I'll ever see that on Come Dine With Me!!DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024
