I promised to bring a dessert/pudding to Sunday lunch tomorrow but I haven't got much energy.

Can anyone think of anything easy to prepare pls?

    thanks

    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

    either
    bread and butter pudding
soak sultanas in sherry or similar over night ( a good slug will also give you energy).
Tomorrow butter bread with or without crusts and layer in baking dish, sprinkle with sugar and sultanas, whisk eggs and milk together and take along with you and in a sealed jar/jug. Pour over eggy mix with another sprinkle of sugar Pop into their oven as the sunday roast comes out and should be cooked when mains is finished serve with crean or ice cream.

or rice pudding if you have a slow cooker add sultanas in sherry (again) and cook over night
    good luck

Melt butter and brown sugar in a frying pan, cook pineapple rings in it til they caramelise, put one per person plus juice in one of those 4x yorkshire pudding trays, cover each with a circle of puff pastry, bake in the oven, turn out upside down - dah dah! tarte tatin! Serve with creme fraiche.

find the cake in a mug thread and further down there's one you can do in a bowl. The spotted !!!!!! version might be nice.

Get thee down to the supermarket and buy greek yoghurt, whipping cream, some soft fruit and demarara sugar.

Put the fruit in the bottom of a glass bowl. Put equal amounts of yoghurt and the now whipped up cream on the top, sprinkle over the demarara sugar.

    Put in fridge overnight

In the morning you should have a dessert that looks like it has a caramalised top as all the sugar will have melted.

It is delicious - the yoghurt makes it not too sweet and the fruit surely makes it a healthy option ;)

  • 4oz sr flour
    4oz caster sugar
    4oz marg/butter
    2 large eggs

cream the sugar and marg together
    add beaten eggs
    then the flour
You can cook this in the microwave in a bowl and it cooks in 2 mins.

In the bottom of the bowl ,before the above mixture...you can put what you want
a couple of teaspoons or tablespoons of jam, lemon curd, golden syrup or stewed fruit.

Packet of instant custard and you have a yummy pud in less than 5 minutes :)
