It's the worst time of year for me and I prefer to spend it alone as I cannot expect anyone else to deal with the tears and stuff. Plus, I don't have any family to spend it with.

Hi guys! Are you still reading?''On the twelfth day of December, Tiffy said to me...'''Tis Better To Give...You could usher in the festive season with a song at one of our Great Big Christmas Sings, go on a treasure hunt – or even hurtle through the streets dressed as Santa Claus. Find out what's going on near you. And come back to this page to find out more events as we add them.
Here are a collection of sites for those of you who might like to venture into volunteering this Christmas. You'd be surprised at how many different ways you can help. Some of them don't even involve being there on Christmas Day itself, like collecting donated foods or preparing them the day before or setting up ready for the day.

...And 'Tis Nowt Wrong With Receiving Either!Although some of these sites are for contacting if you want to volunteer, they generally also offer help to people who might need it. Hi guys! What's next?
''On the fifteenth day of December, Tiffy said to me...''
Love Thy Neighbour!
Now don't start - I'm not talking about that kind of love!Of course, there are many great ways to volunteer or donate or help others at established charity events, but it's just as nice to look at helping a little closer to home. It's a great way of building up a little good old-fashioned sense of community with these random acts of kindness, leading up to, and including, Christmas.Options might include:- this sounds so simple but just saying 'Hello' and 'Merry Christmas' to people you pass on the street, sit next to on the bus or are in a queue with, will give you a nice fuzzy feeling and you might be rewarded with a reply...or else you can smile as they faint with shock!- please's and thank you's go a long way to much abused and stressed sales staff, bus drivers, taxi drivers etc.- checking on your elderly or single neighbours, making sure they're all right - you might be the only person they'll see over the main two or three days.- and not just the elderly either - and there's nothing wrong with knocking on a neighbour's door and say you're going to the local shop and do they need anything or just asking if they're all right?
They can't all have ASBO's!- invite three or four neighbours that you don't know very well over for coffee together - you could be making new friendships.- local hospital or care home visiting/volunteering.- taking some pet food to animal charities.- there are many singletons at Christmas who feel isolated - if you're one, why not be brave and invite a few others you see locally or at work for a Christmas drink together?- helping out at an animal shelter, or walking someone's dog if they can't do it themselves for some reason.- giving a neighbour - elderly or otherwise - a lift to the supermarket or into town or even to a Christmas service.- how about baking/buying some mince pies or buying some cheap little cakes and delivering them to your neighbours along with a Christmas card?As ever, be careful folks - and please try not to make people feel like they're being stalked!
Safe journeys all.
Much Love,

Hi guys! This one is a little bit special.;)''On the sixteenth day of December, Tiffy said to me...'Spread The MSE Word!We all know how amazing MSE life is around here. We need to spread the word as it were, so in the corner of your Christmas cards, why not write down the link to our MSE site? Also, you could enter your online contacts into the MSE email sign up or even put the link in your signature at the bottom of all your emails - not the ones to the Boss though!!!
You might end up MSE-ing yourself out of a job!
As well as giving many people access to the MSE community, where everyone fits in, it'd be one heck of a Christmas pressie for MSE Martin and the MSE team!Much Love,Tiff xxx"If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought." ~ by Peace Pilgrim.***'You just got Tiffed!'***0
