  • Voo, if you have had problems with alcohol before, then you really need to talk to someone now. It sounds as though it could be a crutch for you. Sorry, I don't mean to sound judgemental, but I think the 'hidden' drinking is a warning sign that you need to recognise and act on before it gets worse. I have seen someone rely on drinking to get through, and it doesn't work, and mixing it with meds can have serious consequences. I really hope I don't sound like I'm being hard on you, I'm just worried for you.

SF, don't beat yourself up that you didn't keep your 'resolution'. Think of it more as a target, not an absolute that you must achieve, then you are less likely to put pressure on yourself.

. I had to drink loads of that disgusting stuff the day before that cleans you out, boy was I glad that I had my own bathroom :D

Yes she's got the sachets - should be a fun night - we only have one toilet in our house. I may have to use the cat litter tray if she hogs the bathroom :rotfl:

Thank you everyone for the welcome backs. Sorry I cannot reply to everyone individually at the moment but my head is kinda hectic! :rotfl:

Belated congrats to Meyore :D and belated welcomes to all the newbies.

Also hugs to all those who need them. :D

I can't wait to get out of this area. Sam's mum and dad said that I can stay with them until I find somewhere permanent in Somerset. I'm guessing that means they like me? LOL.
Sam's sister called me pretty earlier (bless her) and then some random person who stopped by my deviantART page called me pretty too, and Sam called me beautiful. Haha. Productive day self esteem wise I think. XD

On the bad side, I have a cold again >.<

    hi all

im on medication which i take everyday and i used to see a counceller but to be honest i diddnt find it helped that much , sometimes i dont feel like i should suffer with this , i had a lovely childhood no abused or anthing no major problems in life so why do i suffer with this horrible illness ?

a few years ago it was soooo bad mum had to bath me etc i just wanted to lock myself away in a dark room but im much better now but i do still have off days

i get stressed so easliy i carnt work due to it as i get myself in such a sate i start crying etc im quite obessive about certain things too like i have to contol things house has to be a certain way etc etc luckliy i have a fab hubby and family

then i got a letter thorugh the door saying they want to review my claim for incap benefit and i may need to go to a medical omg the thought of that sends me into panic mode what can i do what do i say why do u have to go ?????

what if they stop my money ? what will i do ? i do have days where im ok but not consistent enough to hold a job down , what if they say im not capable of looking after my daughter ??

    Hi sf hun!hello.gif
    Well done for replying, sweetheart.action-smiley-033.gif
I'm sorry you had a slip, angel. Just make sure everything is clean hun, and if necessary, please get the dr to check them out, sf. Don't take any chances sweetie.wink.gif

I'm not good today :( I ended up cutting yesterday, which I'm now so annoyed at. I wanted 2009 to be the year I didn't do it, and only 5 days in proved too hard. -sigh- Thanks for your support Tiff, you're an angel. (((HUGS))) to you xx

Ok hunnie, it's happened and it's over with. Now you tell yourself, ''Right, I've only had one slip up and I've got 360 more days to prove I can do it!''
You now have the option to look at it like this instead of telling yourself you've failed - which will only make yourself feel worse and likely to do it again. I'm not a professional as you know sweetheart, but it might be a good idea to see the dr and bring them up to date with what's happened. You did it for a reason, so please talk to someone about it. This will lessen the chances and the temptation to do it again, if it gets you more support angel.wink.gif

    Now what's Tiffy's Rule No.1?
    It's 'take one step at a time' - not 365 of them!eusa_naughty.gif
So how about making small goals to achieve the one you want to achieve...
    - I won't do it today.
    - I won't do it this week.
    - I won't do it this month.
And I think this will take all the pressure off you, hunnie.

On the positive side sf, how many of us can honestly hold our hands up and say we only messed up once in a year?!confused-smiley-013.gif You hang in there - you've not lost the war, sweetie.wink.gif
    Oh - and what's Tiffy Rule No.2?
    Be kind to yourself, sf!sLo_hug2.gif
    Much Love,

Have a look at the In My Home board and see if anyone can give you any tips there. However if it's not frozen and still not emptying I have no suggestions, sorry.
