LM, I also feel not good enough atm, I don't enjoy doing anything so I'm bored out of my face. But you're so lucky to have Sam because he obviously appreciates you. How much is it for a rhinoplasty?

    oops double post!

    Hello.

It's about £2000 I think. I have a strong bridge on my nose. Some people have a fleshy nose and others a bony one. I have a bony one. Oh joy! LOL. But it's something I've been thinking about for years so decided, why not? I'm the one who has to live with what I look like, nobody else so it should be my decision. :)

Please feel free to post as little or as much as you like. I frequently do triple posts. :D

Sincere thanks again for the hugs and best wishes, guys - I really don't know what I'd have done without you!sLo_hug2.gif Being the eldest, I feel like I've got to be the strong one and Mum only tends to open up to me with her low points. She is such a happy-go-lucky person and so friendly to everyone.
Also huge Tiffy welcome home hugs to ettie, sazzy, gilly, sf, cb2, qb, amber, ilgd, alba and rose.sLo_hug2.gif It is great to see you posting again!sport-smiley-001.gif I hope all is well with you guys and thanks to you also, for your lovely posts.action-smiley-033.gif

I know we're still missing our miro and are worried about him, especially after his last post. I'd love him to just post a hello if he's reading. Once you've been with the thread for a while, you can start to notice people's posting patterns, and if it's any consolation, our lovely miro will post constantly and then suddenly will need to stop for quite a while to recharge himself. He has been gone longer than this before bless him, but that doesn't stop us fretting. Please say hello to us when you can miro, hun.sLo_hug2.gif

Sorry for the short post peeps, (well, it is short for me!biggrin.gif). It's time for a catnap folks, I've been up since 3.50am - don't ask me why.confused-smiley-013.gifrolleyes.gif I really wanted to reply to some posts now, so I'll try and post something useful later. I just don't think it's fair to give peeps a half-a$$ed post in reply. I really am thinking of you all when both of my brain cells are present.wink.gif

Be kind to yourself guys sLo_hug2.gif - and lm, please keep reading this until you stop putting yourself down!sLo_hug2.gif Take care all.
    Much Love,
    Tiff xxx

    Hi,

I hope I can crash in on this thread. Hoping I might pick up some good advice along the way.

crash away but bring a bottle, something soft as anti-depressants and alcohol don't mix ;)

    Welcome all you newbies!:santa2:

I know not everyone enjoys this time of year but I hope you have all managed to get through it somehow. Its just about over - only New Years Eve to contend with (we usually stay in but my daughter is insisting on driving us out to SIL's and her local club!)

ilovegreatdanes, I can really empathise with you. I hate karaoke! Worst invention ever. Why on earth would anyone want to listen to people murdering perfectly good songs (as well as bad ones!). I avoid anywhere that karaoke is happening like the plague! Hope the songfest didn't go on too late for you!

Best wishes to your mum, Tiff. Hope she can recover and soon be back home. She's lucky she has you to care for her.

LadyM, if you have a Sam to love you then you can't be that bad! I think its a good idea to have your nose done if you don't like the way it is. As long as you don't think it will change your life because everything will be the same, except you will feel better about your appearance. So don't fall into the trap of thinking that your life will be transformed. I think you're very brave to think about having it done and it will be lovely for you not to see your dad when you look in the mirror! Go for it girl!

I feel not good enough. Not pretty enough. Not smart enough. Not nice or kind enough. Not special enough.

Hey LM, when I first started reading this thread the first thing I noticed was your avatar and said to myself damn that's one pretty lady. I would never have the nerve to post my own pic on here, would scare every1 away ;)

you say you're not good enough, pretty enough, smart enough, kind enough, but how much is ENOUGH! it's like the man who made his first million now wants his 2nd and 3rd so never stops to enjoy the 1st million.

From your posts I feel you already are good and pretty and smart and kind.

Be good to yourself you deserve it.
  • I'm feeling pretty down at the moment. I don't think I can bear to write too much right now but I'm down about everything. I don't feel like there is much to look foward to.
