Can I drop it to £1 so that I get paid sooner!
With Greasyplam I have to wait until the balance level is higher. As quidco pay via paypal I assume there costs are lower?
Is there any downside to dropping the threshold on my quidco account to £1 other than lots of little paypal payments hitting my account?
I've just got my first payment through from quidco - registered just before christmas. I set it to a £1 limit and there doesn't seem to be any problem with it (although bear in mind the first £5 will go to them anyway). I think the main advantage with quidco, apart from being able to set when you get paid, is that their percentage rebates are often more than greasypalm. Also, their tracking seems to be much better. I think greasypalm may have more companies on their books though - I always compare both before deciding which one to go for.0 -

I think they only make £5 per user per year, the rest is in rebates. So after the £5 you get to keep all the rebates.
I must say I've had no problems with greasy palm, and all the money has been paid, even lost transaction have been corrected once I've reported them. But I agree with you the rebates seem MUCH higher on Quidco!
I've racked up £60 so far on 3 new phones via Quidco from OSPS if I order 2 phones from orange would I get 2 x £5, in rebates?
Thanks for the tip about comparing GP and Quidco I'll bear this in mind.Seth.0 -
is this phone locked to orangemjr600 wrote:If you just want a phone to make the odd call and don't need photo's, video etc this can't be bad for a tenner delivered.

This is a nice little phone!
I registered the Sim card yesterday and it was activated today.
As I ordered through Quidco, I should get a £5 rebate - making the phone £4.99.
BUT in addition to this I have received £1 free calling credit, 300UK texts to use this month and 1MB WAP browsing - all this without topping up!!0 -
Definately will be locked to Orange. It can't be unlocked by a freely available code either. From what I remember, a microscopic piece of printed circuit track (called a 'test point') has to be cut inside the phone followed by unlocking by a computer and cable.adel1abed wrote:is this phone locked to orange

I'm inclined to think it is since nobody has mentioned otherwise (no doubt others will be able to confirm this).;)adel1abed wrote:is this phone locked to orange
The Moto C115 (£12.49 on Orange including £5 calling credit) from CPW is UNLOCKED, but currently out of stock (they are allowing you to back-order so presumably they must be getting more in stock soon):D :

Also CPW have got limited stock of the Motorola C139 Colour Handset at £14.99 including £5 extra calling credit plus the normal £1 Orange credit.ianonline wrote:The Moto C115 (£12.49 on Orange including £5 calling credit) from CPW is UNLOCKED, but currently out of stock (they are allowing you to back-order so presumably they must be getting more in stock soon)
Makes it £9 including delivery and it is also unlocked. I got a couple of these last week and they are fine little phones.
Hope that helps.

Just ordered one of these using Quidco, will just leave it in the glove box of the car as an emergency phone as my other half keeps forgetting to take hers with her - for a fiver it is disposable!!!0

Thanks I ordered one of the C139 just for the huge battery life 2 weeks standby! Ideal for holidays and as a spare phone, even better it is unlocked already!Seth.0 -
CPW have obviously messed up the figures they've quoted:seth wrote:Thanks I ordered one of the C139 just for the huge battery life 2 weeks standby
Talktime (Up to):450hrs
Standby time (Up to):11hrs 40mins
(presumably they should be the other way around !!):p
EDIT: I've just checked the Motorola website and the official quoted figures are:
Talktime (Up to):450 MINS
Standby time (Up to):350 HOURS0
