Can I ask the people here that already have the I3 - if when you install POI Speed camera sites, does it actually display automatically the speed limit for that camera ?

Its just its all very well displaying that there is a speed camera ahead, I can normally spot that, but I sometimes struggle when I'm in suburban sprawl that I'm not familiar with what the actual speed limit is.

Staples in Aston, Birmingham has shifted 8 since Friday. I got the last one yesterday, the old display model with 5% off for being messed around in store. SA thought that 5% off was calculated by dividing by 5, so from an initial scan of £130 (even though they are displayed at £119) I paid a shade over a ton.

If it helps, neither the Staples in Yardley or Shirley have them either

Staples website operates independently of their stores, so it's not available online.

edit:Halfords have it in their online store though.

You may want to check ebay now. Some brand new ones have occassionally sold for £105-£115. Some still going for over £150.

Using the pocketgps camera database, choose the files separated in to speed catagories, rather than the files divided by camera type. The icon will only show up if you are over the speed limit, the i3 will continue to bong whilst over the speed limit.

I found one Garmin i3 (display unit) likely to have version 7 of the maps (you can update for free from Garmin). It is priced at £99 in Currys in Galashiels at the Scottish Borders if anyone is interested. You can probably give them a phone to reserve it and pick it up later. Hope this helps someone.
