You need to connect to Your pc,then reload POI,s whilst You are connected You can edit the speed settings ie for a 30 mph put in 31 mph and so on to 70 mph.

Just a thought. Sat Nav is the latest must have gadget! What is going to happen later this year when the new European sat system comes online? Will the old sat navs be out of date? Call me an old sceptic, but I predict in a few years time all cars will be fitted with these as standard. Why, cos they are going to be used to charge you tolls on certain roads. There are going to be unbelievable changes in the next few years with this technology. Ask yourself why they are being sold off at low prices, cos they are already yesterdays technology!

you can also rename the file(i.e. I think that any number in the file name is the speed at which to alert) or if you edit the .csv files you will see the speed camera ones have '@70' or '@30' at the end of each line, just do a global replace to the speed you do want

or the smart money is on you taking your £99 Garmin i3, clicking the little naviwheel to the settings screen, then choosing 'GPS mode' followed by selecting WAAS which will use the European equivalent 'EGNOS' (currently in test mode). If you wish to pay more for a new SatNav that will only use EGNOS, then go right ahead though, I know which one looks the better bargain as it stands and it sounds like 'i3'

That is not the case if You have not set it for the relevent speeds ie it will still bong if You are only doing 20mph on a 30 mph limit :D

it will only do that if youhave set the alert speed to 20MPH or anything below 30MPH in effect, which is a bit daft really

I think i'm a bit too late here, but does anyone know if Somerfield are still stocking these at £99?

Have rang a few storess but most responses are "i've never heard of it so I asume we don't stock them"?!?!?

Best way to do this is go to Somerfield home page and pop your postcode/town in and that will give you a list of stores. Move the town around to widen area.

The trouble is a lot of staff have never heard of them and you have to be patient with them.

I think you might struggle but they were certainly in Paisley last week. You might have more chance with the Micromaxx PDA there seemed to be more of them around and I think they are a better deal.

I have now loaded TomTom and bought large 1Gb SD card that allows the wee one to watch movies in the car when I don't use the GPS. And its also a pocket PC so at £130 its great value
