  • Thanks for the advice - I did ask earlier if this was OK on the forum.
It's not according to rule 9.2.2 so have edited posts accordingly.

Good luck to anyone still wanting an i3 at a bargain price!

Not sure about this one - if drlunanerd has deliberately used information from this site to buy up a stock and then make a profit, then I think it's morally wrong - such action will only stop people posting their "finds" - there is also the argument that if he doesn't do it someone else will. As an example, my local Somerfield manager told me 4 weeks ago that he'd sold about 400 units in his store alone.

If he bought them through the "trade" then I don't see anything wrong, so long as he doesn't forget to declare any profit to the tax-man! ;)

italiastar, the moral arguments are neither here nor there, to be honest. Site rules say you can't sell your own stuff on here, even if you've bought it purely for the purpose of flogging it.

Sorry if I was unclear - I wasn't saying that he should be allowed to sell on MSE - this clearly is against the ethos of MSE - what I meant is whether he should sell for profit at all.
