I'm quite sure they did, but like they say 'when they've gone they've gone!' I'm getting fed up of ringing round stores only to be told they're sold out.

Sorry if it's been posted already but does anyone have the link to this GPS for £99 on the Curry's or Dixon's websites?
I found it on Pc World but they are out of stock:(

Went to PC World in York yesterday. They had one on display. I got excited. Then they couldn't fine the box. No accessories, no software, no car holder - I had to decline. Sigh...

Yeah they do but its £200 in store and £180 on the web, I wouldnt pay that to be honest.

All DSG stores and websites have been showing the i3 at £99 for some time now but don't seem to have them in stock.

Strangely enough, I phoned Garmin having had a few problems with the new firmware. The chap got me to do a manual reset (hold all three buttons down for a couple of seconds, and you will be asked if you want to delete everything - answer yes and this will reset the garmin). It sorted it all out for me - everything works fine now, including the new firmware.


Oh, as for the Garmin not showing the icons, check my post further back. That was actually to do with the smaller images on the pocketgps garmin database. I posted how to sort this out.

One more thing - those on Version 7 maps, Version 8 maps are out on the 25th Feb. Just ring Garmin on that date to get your order - it's free!
