hollie.weimeraner wrote:I installed the speed camera POI's on mine last week and they all showed up when in map view. I updated the firmware from 2.5 to 2.7 and it now doesn't show the cameras in map view. ( Don't know if it still picks them up in nav mode yet but I'm not hopeful).
Anyone got any ideas on this please? I have the latest POI's for the speed cameras btw.Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0 -

Aiadi wrote:You may have deleted the custom POIs by updating the firmware. You can confirm this by trying to find them on your custom POI list. If this is the case then re-install them again and it should work.
They were still on the POI list. I've now sorted it by contacting Garmin. They emailed me 2.5 firmware and I've re-installed that which has reinstated all the camera sites. Looking at pocketgrps website some of the firmware updates are "buggy".
All DSG stores and websites have been showing the i3 at £99 for some time now but don't seem to have them in stock.0 -
emujuice wrote:sorry new dude! we've all spotted this at somerfield for £99. although stocks are low, so someone might want to get one at £148. cheers for the heads up though. and welcome to mse!

Hi I went to a curry's today in Burnley and they didnt have any Garmin I3 and I couldn't see any sign to suggest they were on sale there for £99 !
As yet I havn't been able to get one for £99 either online or in a shop.....
Halfords(Burnley) say they have a sale on again they didnt have any Garmin but had Tom
Tom prices are as follows :
TomOne - £279.99
Tom300 - £299.99 saving £70
Tom500 - £369.99 saving £149.98

I am not sure if these are good prices or not !"The time is always right to do what is right"0 -

PC World are currently just advertyising the streetpilot c320 at £250. The i3 isn't showing at all, when last week it was showing out of stock. There were a number of other forums stating that DSG shops had been stocking the Garmin but they have obviously all gone now.0

There's plenty of brand new ones on ebay at 'buy it now prices' of around £140, which would have been perfectly acceptable a couple of months ago.0
