  • I always use Valued Opinions (valuedopinions.co.uk) as they pay alot more than other survey sites - you can get as much as £5 for just doing one survey!!!

You get sent lots of surveys to do so can save up quickly. When you get £10 you can choose a gift voucher and they have lots of shops to choose from so you can get presents for yourself or others! Makes birthday/Christmas shopping easy!!

What a strange selection of posts appearing on this thread of late..
To anyone coming along and simply posting questions such as 'I want to earn money, any suggestions', you should read through the thread, and other similar threads on this forum. The search tool isn't brilliant, but I find it pretty useful if you select 'Advanced Search', then 'Search Titles Only' and choose a particular sub/forum to search in.

    Hi all,

Further to my suggestion in the Siteback Feedback forum, I am wanting to compile a list of companies that are good to work for, along with a little explanation what each one does and what the possible earnings are. This can be survey sites, mystery shopping, anything where you can earn money, working from home to maybe having to go out and earn a bit etc. (Please remember it is not acceptable for people to promote sites/opportunities in their own interest - including the network marketing schemes and requests to "PM for further information").

A few people have mentioned they would like something like this, and what I'm really needing is for people to either reply to this thread and I will copy and paste to what will hopefully become a sticky, or simply PM me and I can add the information.

Your help would be most appreciated and I look forward to hearing from you.

PS - I will only be listing companies that are good to work for, but if you have had any problems with any company that could appear, please PM me and let me know, just in case someone else says they are ok.

    Many thanks

It would be nice if the OP would either edit the first post accordingly, or come back and say he(?) is too busy and can't, then perhaps someone else can do it if they want.

Sorry to sound narky, but I don't like it when people post something, then others show an interest in replying, and the OP seems to 'wander off' and forget about it. It also bugs me when people post on a thread, clearly not having bothered to read the thread. I know it's a pain when a thread gets long, but you can search threads and pages or at just apologize that you haven't read it because you can't/don't want to/are too busy/etc.. usually takes the irritation out of it for me anyway.. ;)
  • I have been an agent for Tish Tash Toys for a little while now. Lovely family business selling good quality wooden and traditional toys. It's not rocket science, I just give out catalogues and sell at local events then make a percentage of everything I sell. Works well all yr and gets pretty busy at Xmas!

I signed up with lots of survey sites and have found mixed results with them:

Toluna - takes ages to get anywhere and often screened out early on. I've redeemed some points for a voucher but so far not got it. Need to chase that one up! Wouldn't recommend

Ipsos - seems easy to build up points - so far this year about £50 - 60 worth of vouchers and doesn't seem like that many surveys

Opinionworld - most of their surveys get you entry into a prize draw only, however occasionally they have cash rewards which are paid into Paypal eg. got £6 for a text survey thing which took no time and £15 for a 3 part survey which wasn't that hard either

Onepoll - different to other sites as you have to log onto their site to do the surveys, easy and quick surveys but takes ages to get to £40 which is the point they pay out at.

Zoompoints - another one where you have to do lots of surveys for not much reward

HarrisPoll - same as zoom points - I've been doing it for ages and am almost half way to £25......

GfK - I do their TV survey and also monthly 'what I buy' surveys. Mostly prizes but seem to regularly pick up a few pounds worth of vouchers. Also do an occasional TV survey which is more indepth and pays £5 in vouchers. Easy to complete.

All of above offer vouchers for places like Boots, Amazon etc - all shops I would actually shop in!!!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)
  • I don't think anyone has mentioned Consumer Pulse and TNSMySurveys. CP gets me around £10 per month in vouchers, very occasionally £20 (they have restrictions on how much you can earn) and MySurveys is slower but will pay out into a Nectar account so you can get something from Argos or Amazon vouchers.
MYSurvs is obviously surveys and CP is entering certain shopping details but nothing like groceries - more things like clothes, cosmetics, entertainment & phone stuff etc. Very easy!
They sometimes send a small survey worth around 500-1000pts.

  • Hi All,

What are the views on mystery shopping i have been told of a few companies, just wondered if anyone has used mystery shopping before and been paid.

Which companies would you suggest that pay the most?

    Chris
