  • This is a great thread - really useful - have signed up to lots of survey sites and looking into some of the other suggestions as well.

We are about £20k short for a house deposit so I'm looking for ways to make some extra cash fairly quickly. Hoping to earn an extra £1k a week if possible (thinking £250 a day).

I work as a PA normally but am on maternity leave at the moment so could do proof reading, document formatting, letter writing, etc. Anyone know any sites that I can register to do this?

    Thanks!
  • Thanks Airwolf1, I would like a copy of list when you have it.

Hello I have found an outsourcing company but I don't know if they are genuine. If they work for me I will share it to you for an additional source of income.
  • Does anyone know if it is OK to sell a Virgin Wines £40 e-voucher on Ebay? Don't think I am going to use it.

Lightspeed Panel- Take surveys for lightspeed points then convert these into cash through paypal, amazon vouchers or gifts on site, you will need to find a sign up link somewhere on the net though.

I signed up for this through a link on Gumtree. They send me emails informing me of new relevant surveys quite often, but more often than not, when I try to take the survey it either tells me they have enough participants of the same/ similar profile (or something to that effect), or that they have enough participants altogether. And whenever I have completed any they ALWAYS take a LOT longer than they say they will. So personally I don't think this is a very worth while way of making extra money. (Intended to be constructive, not outright negative btw!)

    Hi

I have had so many problems with Lightspeed recently! If I actually get accepted to complete a survey, it takes over an hour and then I get kicked out!! I have tried to refresh (I know, I know, you're not supposed to!) but when I have a limited time as a single mum to go online & complete the surveys, it's not fair that they are exploiting people :confused:Maybe they are taking advantage of new subscribers???
  • I signed up for slicethepie today. People say the harder you work at it, the money you'll get. I'm also going to check out everydaymodels and post back. But also, I've been using Triviala. It's a trivia games site, not a job. But it's effortless to answer one question a day and enter into cash lotteries. I've won one of their daily ones, and they put the money into a click and buy account (only if its a small sum like 15 quid). But i spent that on itunes. Anyways, triviala, effortless and free, so i go for that.

ill post back about how slicethepie works and everydaymodel
Me: Would you like a drink?

Old Man: I don't drink anymore [awkward silence] that being said...I dont drink any less either!

No one buys them. I tried to sell mine starting at 99p and got nothing. Just do a search of completed listings and you'll see.

What does this job involve? I've just been on the site and it says they're recruiting webcam operators...sounds a bit odd to me as it doesn't tell you what the work involves!!
    hi there,
Not an option for everybody but I do some webcam work for ExcelTelemedia. You can earn up to £15 an hour but its great for me cos I can do it when the kids are in bed and its not as scary as you might think!:rotfl:
think their website is www.exceltelemedia.com and you can just log on whenever you want.
