  • !!!!!! to the sods who did your car.

I really don't know what to suggest hon, I thought there would be baby sitting due to Christmas.

did you try the OS board.

I know how hard it is to get out of yourself and not think everything is crap, when things like this happen but you have hung in this long, can you not let your sister help - at least with the food?

I think everyone is struggling this year so that probably explains the lack of babysitting jobs but I'll keep my fingers crossed that something comes up soon.

As for the food situation, with the electrics in my kitchen being b***ered I don't have cooking facilities so thats a decent excuse for going to relatives for food. Every cloud...

To be honest, I'm struggling to get myself out of bed at the moment because I just feel so terrible mentally but I've got a list of things to do and I'm getting through them slowly. Haven't been across to OS yet but its on my list.

I didn't have a great deal of food in my freezer - oh look, another silver lining of sorts!

  • The police called today to tell me that their enquiries led nowhere - guge surprise. Unfortunately they have to send me my crime reference number so I can't get onto the car insurance company yet.

My sister told my gran what had been happening. The lovely woman emptied her piggy banks and gave my sister all the money in them to give to me. No idea how much is there but it's mainly 20s and 5s and its a reaconable sized bag. How nice is that?

Tonight I inflicted myself on my sister's family as I have no cooking facilities or fridge. They were happy to oblige, although they honestly didn't get a great deal of choice in the matter.

Tonight has been pretty productive. As my grandparents alredy have everything they could want, and since I'm beyond skint, I decided a while ago that I would make their presents this year. So tonight I've been up at my step-dad's house to use his kitchen (minecouldn't have timed it any better) so I've made a couple of malt loafs, apple pies and some tablet. Not much but at least the thought is there I guess.

  • Mupteer that is lovely, home made stuff is ALWAYS far more appreciated then shop bought stuff.

clearly your lovely family have a lovely Grandaughter/sister/daughter

Happy Christmas darling you are an inspirationxxxxxxx

  • So glad Christmas is just about over. I know that makes me sound like a miserable cow but I really don't like this time of year at all.

Anyway, my grandparents seemed to appreciate the home baked stuff. Wish I could say there was some appreciation from my dad and the witch he married. I just called him to say thanks for my gift but my hearing must have gone when she then he said thanks for their gift. Ok, so it was a joint present from me and my sister's family but really. Don't know why I'm surprised or disappointed but I can't help it.

One good thing about Christmas day is that I haven't spent anything. Yay! Two days in a row! If I keep this up I'll be debt free before 2020:o

  • Unfortunately, due to my friends being a**holes over the last couple of months I've decided I'd be better off without them. Pants but true! But I really don't think I need people in my life who let me down and are insensitive in the ways they have been. So, in short, not taxi service. Ah well, at least I wont be spending on petrol!

Be really careful with doing this (and certainly with posting details about it online) - if you had an accident whilst doing this you wouldn't be covered on the insurance as nearly all policies state "not for hire or reward". Insurance companies now are far less likely to be fooled by the "Oh my friends were just chipping in with petrol money" line.
