It could have been much worse. Diana could have been singing it.

Lady Diana? Now THAT would be christmas magic. I can hear the kids from the Orphanage on backing vocals.

Leonard's version is still the best. Jeff Buckley died, get over it! AND his dad was the one with all the talent :A
  • sorry are we not allowed to like the song because Jeff Buckley died? ill remember that

*throws out my john lennon tracks*
  • I've always been under the impression that more people liked Buckley's version BECAUSE he died...
    Call me Carmine....

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??

I believe Tim Buckley also died and as the unproud owner of 2 albums (I was 18 and trying to be quirky) I can say that IMO he was most definately NOT the one with all the talent. *Prepares for attack*

Thanks for that, Leonard Cohen it is for me and I'll be buying/downloading Sir Terry and Aled :D
  • Rufus Wainwright's version every time...
  • Sorry but for me JLS sung the more 'believable' version, however i think the Cohen version is better than Buckley's but for a different and even better version, try Il Divo's.
