Know what you mean-my first day on shift at Gatwick,resplendant in my BCAL tartan uniform.I gave an American couple perfect directions to where they wanted to go, albeit in a thick scouse accent. He looks at the wife and goes "Was she speakin' English?" Hmm, need to moderate the accent a bit methinks....it's nearly gone now but the kids think it's hilarious that I say Bath nor barrth..

No she was three in October so she will not be at school until the year after....she now knows the channel number for cbeebies....

Are you a scouser then schoorunmum, my OH is a scouser (albeit a bit of a posh one) - my inlaws however are dead scouse....and I need a translater when they all start....
