    I know what you mean, it's when you sit and start thinking about the cold you start to feel it!
    I was given a good tip that really works - If your feet are cold, change your socks for a fresh pair.

    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    oh pingu, thats awful - you have had no heating for days now....hope the engineer comes quick.

    Snags hun, you have been through an awful lot lately it is unsurprising that you are having a confidence crisis...I don't think I had much confidence and then the last couple of years with the job situation and everything made it so that I just didn't even want to go out...I still have a phobia about the phone!! I have had to really force myself to come out of myself.

    I wish i had half the confidence that my kids seem to have! They are unbelievably confident.

    And spud is right, its not about losing weight or being fit (although I do find running helps blow the cobwebs away) its a state of mind....

    the day after the programme was originally on 'Geraldine McQueen' rang Chris Moyles from her hospital bed on a payphone...she was complaining that when she was choking neither of the girls from two up two down got up to help her....
