Mornin' all, still hung over from sat night I'm afraid! Be gentle with me.....
Was carried home and deposited on my sofa by my BF, woke up soaking wet on said sofa at 6.30-had spilt a glass of water all over myself...yuk...never again..

Morning all. The gig last night was GREAT. Had SUCH a good night, as soon as there's any pics I'll post them up. Hopefully there'll be some audio too and possibly video... if and when we get it I'll let you guys know.. my ears are still ringing though! lol!!
Also had an open and honest chat with Ste last night about some stuff.. and feeling much better for it this morning.
Hope everyone is well and nice and warm.. my god it's so cold!

He he SRM at least is was only water - could have been much worse!

Its freezing here this morning - trying to get together the energy to get me and the kids dressed and then everyone off to work/nursery/school. Supposed to be getting the heating fixed tonight - fingers crossed!

Penguin - hope heating gets sorted. I was out at work most of the weeknd and hubby leaves all the internal doors open so heat hasn't stayed in the rooms all weekend. :mad:

Daphne - make sure you are good - not like me, I 'work from home' and spend my whole time on here.

I've got an interview at 10 and then errands all day. SO NOT sorted for Christmas!:eek:

Was just catching up on last night's thread - spud - you have nothing to worry about for the meet - if it makes you feel any better, I have 10 stone to lose by Feb, so you are just a skinny minnie in comparison !

Well, OH was on form again last night.

Picture the scene - you've set up the portable TV with the cable box as the decorating is ongoing. OH arrives and immediately moves the portable and drags in the big TV (because, it transpires, he just 'has' to have the big one to watch) and plonks it on the sofa to get the stand. As he walks away, there is a big 'thud' followed by '!!!!'.........and the TV is on the floor, face down, very broken.

Guess what the first thing he said was? Sorry? No. I'll pay for it to be mended? No. I'll replace it (even the gesture would have been nice). No.

The first thing he said was

'you can claim on your insurance for that'.......


!!!!!!..........yeah, and the excess I'll have to pay???

Blank look followed by much defensive blustering.....I said 'a sorry would suffice' and he said 'sorry?' as if he hadn't heard. I said 'a sorry would suffice'.....he said ' I've just said it'......:mad:


right, popping off to work for an hour or so......sigh.......
