I think I need to avoid ebay! I won my glass bird, but I've also won a plate! It's a limited edition and my mother bought me one as the little boy on the plate is the double of my son. DH, being the clutz that he is, was going up step ladder near the wall where the plate was and knocked it flying. I even contacted Border Fine Arts to see if they knew where I might get one, but no luck, then I found one on ebay. I ended up paying more than twice the original cost plus postage as I was almost outbid, but it was really special to me, and my Mum was so pleased to get it that I never told her it had been broken. I've been looking for a replacement for nearly 3 years! Does that make me sad?

I am also watching some Massage couches, having been outbid on one. If I keep a close eye, I may be lucky at the last minute.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Afternoon all
One load of washing hung up indoors.
I've cleaned the bathroom/toilet properly, in easy stages, just pausing to cough..
Got DH to put up a line and put the cards up.
Generally tidied round downstairs.
Put baubles in a reindeer/sleigh thing I bought and called it a table centrepiece (looks more like a moose than a reindeer to me).
Coughed.
Off to read posts. Hope people are OK.0 -

Does he do "overseas" jobs? I'd even pay his travelling costs and it would still be cheaper than anything around here. :rotfl:mumoffour77 wrote: ».He was brilliant he had all the work done in 2 days and only charged £200!!

Happy Birthday Crafty

lil-me. Thinking of you and Megan. Three years ago on 20th December I had to do the same thing with my cat. It was a rubbish Christmas after that but it couldn't wait, it wouldn't have been fair on her.0 -
