Hey all
Trying to work out what to do today. I know I need to get all the presents for the children up and see what they actually have before I decide whether they need more. Then need to do a list of what I've got for everyone else as I think I need something for my mum :rotfl:
Now what I'd really like to achieve today are clean and clear floors. Not sure if I'll manage it but floors seem to be like every other horizontal surface in this house, if they're clear for more than an hour it's a miracle! Usually takes a lot less time than that to get cluttered with bags, toys and clothes etc!Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Morning lovelies!
I did my living room last night at 8pm....I got a second wind and gave it a good wash all over so it's now clean yay! Sat and watched the Royal Variety Performance, it was pretty good all in all but Take That were fab but a bit disappointed they didn't sing Rule The World.
Got work today till 3pm during which I need to go and see if I can get panto tickets (left it a bit late) then there's the dailies ....need to dry some washing that's been sitiing in the machine for 3 days, S&S kitchen etc....will be having tea out tonight cause we're going up to Newcastle for the late night shopping mainly to look at Fenwicks window and soak up the atmosphere.....and it was on 'on my things to do' list cause we've never been, don't need to buy much thank goodness but I can feel The Pier sale pulling as we speak... oh and Primark
Time to go, have a great day ladies and gents

DD has always had eczema from birth, but as well as that a consultant has diagnosed thet she had Ichthyosis Vulgaris aswell.....apparently its a condition that affects 3 people in a million and it meand that if her skin isnt kept moisturised 24/7 it peels off/Falls off. DD wants to get rid of the eczema so much that she asks doctors to be "careful" when taking off her wraps as she could lose some of her precious skin!!! The Drs are great....and last week when she was at the hospital her consultant asked if some student doctors could sit in on her appointment DD said no!! I had to explain that the drs were learning and needed to see what problems she had...so that maybe someday when they were big drs they might find a cure for her and other little kids with her problem!! She agreed but on the condition that she could speak to them....so she spoke to them saying that when she was sleeping she scratched.....but didnt know she was doing it, and that she was waking up mummy and mummy had to clean her up and she would really like it to stop cause all her friends mummies always said to her mummy(me) that she always looked tired.....It was very funny!!!
Aaah bless! Poor thing though, I do feel sorry for her. I remember when I was at junior school (many years ago ) there were two brothers (in different years) who were covered from head to toe in eczema - I don't think they had a spare inch of flesh which wasn't affected - and they scratched constantly. They would fall asleep in class too, probably because of the medication they were on. I feel awful because I remember that when we did country dancing and had to pair up none of the girls wanted to have to hold hands with themI often wonder what happened to them and if it ever improved.

First thing I need to do this morning - after my bath - is sort out my email and be ruthless with the delete button. Outlook has been running extremely slow the last couple of days - I think its brain is full!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Anyone up for a HHC at 9:30? (nice and neat that time!)
I need to do my bathroom - and make my bed...in my defence it has been airing.
It's dry here (but the paths are wet still) so I have optimistically pegged out my washing.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
