Morning All
Had a bit of a lie-in this morning 6.10 as my cold which has been lingering in the background for about a week has decided to arrive - on the one day I'm going out and will be having a late night. Work's Christmas do tonight - Abba - so that should be fun - hope I'm feeling a bit more alive by then though!
So far I've draped washing around the radiators, reloaded the WM and caught up with the thread. Going to strip my bed in a mo and then DH can make it again tonight.
Need to do 1 more HHC on the LR and then that's finished so I might do that in a min or try and do it tonight. Going to ring the hairdressers later on the off chance that I can get my hair cut after work - if I can, I won't have chance to do anything tonight - if I can't then I'll do a bit when I get in.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Good morning everyone  Have some of you not been to bed
The children breakup from school at 2:30 this afternoon (they used to go to their primary school carol concert, but with the new head, they're no longer welcome
). I'm well on with my list, and am having a big push on the dining room today, so that we can decorate at the weekend.
Have a great day, Penny. x

Slept a little better last night, went for that traditional of sleep aids, alcohol. He's still in bed which is a good thing, he's affected more by lack of sleep then me, don't think he's actually sleeping, but the rest will do him good too. Does however mean that I can do nothing with te bedroom till he gets up...
think I'll do the kitchen cupboards and fridge, try and get tuesdays taks off my list, coz basically anything which doesn't get done during this week will have to be caught up on saturday morning between half six and half eight (my time between going to station with oh and friend coming to pick me up for a trip to Leeds), thats the aim anyway. Then it'll just be a case of keeping ontop of stuff till Christmas. YAY:jNow MARRIED!11/09/100 -

Morning all, hope you both had a cracking night at Quo last night AnW's mum. They were in the restaurant i work in a coulple of years ago, i came in for a shift, sat down at the staff table and realised they were sat on the next table:p
Feeling a little delicate this morning, one of the girls from work is leaving after xmas so she had her leaving night last night. The barman is a good friend and was pouring me large measures:eek: I'm a complete lightweight anyway so i was fooked. Had a cracking night though, will walk LO to school and then may return to my nest, depends how i feel. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Do any of you wonderful people have tips on how to clean wicker? I bought some Fortnum and Mason wicker baskets from ebay and they are really quite dusty/ old and need of a very good clean. If anyone has any tips I'd really appreciate them :j :j0

Morning lovelies!
Isn't it the way? I am not at work (did I mention I am on HOLIDAY until next year?) and I wake up at stupid o'clock! On the plus side though I have written a paper list, phoned my work partner to pass on a message that I had forgotten:rolleyes: (one of many BTW so hardly surprising something got missed) and trundled out to the dustbin as the bin lorry heaved into sight to fling two hairbrushes I never use but kept because
and a cookie jar - chipped but which has graced my kitchen cookie-less for many a long year - why I decided to fling it at 5 o'clock I will never know but one less thing to wash and dust in the room now.
While I was outside I spotted a neighbour on her way to work. This lady became epileptic after chilbirth problems (babe was fine he's about 16 now) and was having 3 fits a week at one point. She has only had 3 this year and is now working. There are still precautions she needs to take (she never bathes alone and uses public transport (not to bathe lol)) but I am so pleased for her, she has her life back again...
So off to find my list...
ETA Hope you and Miss A enjoyed that band you were travelling to the big city to see, AnWsMum... now did you mention who it was?
