    soappie HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
skint_chick ((hugs)) hope you enjoy the cinema honey, mine hasn't ran home to Mummy for a while now but used to do it every 6 months or so
hex hope you feel better soon, I was already in a team myself sweetie or I'd have joined you, I think this competitions been a bit pathetic to be honest. I think most would have found it easier to go alone and refresh the card over and over until they got a decent row they could definately achieve.
boddy hope things are ok and thinking of your GS1, hoping things settle down soon
Hello Mudbath, hope you are taking things easy and the infection clears soon, very common with surgery 'down there'. My Mum had those flush sort of feelings when she had an infection there too (from another attempt at solving her problems)
juliejim how frustrating, maybe tell DD just to tell you in future, works in this house usually
    Justamum definately trial run!
LG ((hugs)) for you and your Dad

PF ((hugs)) of sympathy and empathy, I have one the same (don't worry the helpful person here tonight won't last long)

Well PC is now upstairs, DP plopped his bottom on the chair in front of it as soon as it was finished so have left the stuff that needs sorting on the bed and came down here for a bit of a catch up. Doors glued and clamped, need new chisel to redo hinges, we know why it'd come off now, someone chose to relocate mm away from the first go, so the woods just collapsed.

I've only caught the last half hour of the variety performance, has it got a transexual/gay theme this year and I missed the advertising? Doesn't bother me in the slightest, just seems rather odd!!!
One day I might be more organised...........

Mudders - I do hope you RECYCLED the envelopes! :rotfl::rotfl:

But good on you for taking it easy..

If you have a small infection in your wound and you're getting what you think are mini hot flushes - if I were you, I'd just mention it to someone medical soon - when you get a moment. By the way ... that's not medical advise, that's common sense!

    You've been busy today!

Hectic day at work... no idea how I'm going to get everything done for year end! Did two of my end of year reviews... one scheduled for tomorrow, and am off to Leeds on Monday to do the last two (one of the team doesn't have theirs done until Feb, and one hasn't actually started with us yet!).

Met up with friends in town for a couple of hours to catch up, then nipped into the supermarket to get wine & chocs to give to the team and the security guards/receptionists as it's my last day in the Windsor office tomorrow.

Am shattered, have a splitting headache, and haven't done any flying (however, have been here so little, downstairs is still clean and tidy... upstairs is another matter entirely, but will deal with it before I leave for Leeds).

Also haven't done my own year-end update for my boss, chased legal for approval on a letter, done a draft for a communication that needs to go out, prepared the presentation for my new director (seeing him tomorrow afternoon for the first time), worked out baseline capacity for the team and estimated 2009 resource requirement for additional permies/temps/contractors/consultancy, or submitted the request for vast amounts of money for a new discovery tool... On Monday I told both my boss & finance director that shelf-stacking was an appealing option... next year is going to be a nightmare, and we haven't even got this year finished yet!

Now... do I go to bed with some Nurofen, or do I have a bath with some Nurofen and THEN go to bed? Life is full of exciting choices ;)

Just don't get mixed up and drink the bath and swallow the bed - hope your headache shifts soon

    Xmas cards here I come!
