  • Hello All :hello:

*yawn* I am SO tired today. Why did I think I could stay up till 1am, and be ok this morning .... at this time of year!!!! DH and I are s'posed to be going late night shopping tonight  I don't know if I've got the energy for it.

I was going to go back to bed after the school run, but caught up on the thread instead, after deciding that if I did go to bed, I was bound to get disturbed by the front door or the phone etc.... only one call so far, so could have had a kip. Think I'll head sofa-wise! :D

Not sure if I mentioned the budget/no booze/ lots of water thing!!!! Well, *smug* all very much on track. 33 days booze free now. We had a blip at the weekend and ordered take out 2 days on a row!!!!  But, nonetheless, everything's still on track.

On the downside, after we'd had Chinese, DH did his blood sugar ( he's diabetic) and it was SO high!! 13.6   should be between 4 and 7. So, serious rethink on the takeaway food issue then!!! We're pretty food aware, but just hadn't given the Chinese food the slightest consideration!!!! Whoops! (pre budget we were having Chinese take-out every Friday)

So, news update on my friend's little boy. He's responding well to treatment. So, so far so good. Mum's not coping at all well though. :( But I'm sure it'll all be ok in the end.

And lastly, my own little disaster.... although, nothing on the scale of Pigger's disaster  My WM has died. It actually caught fire!!! I can't decide if I'm happy or sad. Happy because I want a new one, and sad cos... did I mention... I'm on a budget?

Hope everyone is well and happy. Nice to have you back Mudders.

And Belated Happy Birthday to Diva

Right, off for a kip.

Christmasshopper - have you done your repeat prescription?

Soappie - we're not allowed to put envelopes in with our recycling. If they find one they leave everything. I usually cut the sticky bits off and just put in the bits of paper (takes ages!!) but i'm not doing it at the moment whilst i'm laid up! I'm normally a good girl.....honest!!! xx:o
