Me and OH are trying to make things work... baby steps though so the engagement is still off for now (which is a kinda relief for me as his family were pressuring us about it)..... but were getting on better and he's really making the effort to help out with sarah and the house... things are not totally perfect but rome wasnt built in a day

Oh I am glad! The reality of having a baby obviously took him a while to adjust to and get his head around. If you both still love each other it's definitely worth trying to work at it. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you both.

Thanks for all the supportive messages everyone

If I won the lottery ( not that I know how to put it on) I would buy you all a bunch of flowers, a box of chocolates and a bottle of your favourite tipple x

g&b you're brave, good luck with your mission!
Mudbath ((welcome home)) well done to your hubby too
    wilf ((hugs))
Flis welcome back, wow has it been a year already!
pigpen !!!! So pleased you are ok! Little witch bag child wants bloomin' backside kicking!
Emily good luck YOU CAN APPLY FOR BOTH TO BE PAID - Stick a form in, the worst they can say is no but in situation like yours it isn't uncommon to have them paid for both
OJK pleased you are feeling better, thank you for restoring my faith in human beings today x
toochoosey ((hugs for you and your DD))
AnW'sMum next year save a list on your computer aswell!

Back from the party, kids had a great time. Matthew - he thought when the kids ran they were chasing him, then when they disappeared he looked all confused, he wasn't keen on santa, clocked him walking in his eyes followed him, took him to see him and he screamed in his face, oh well :rotfl: He had a great time. I forgot how tiring toddlers are! I think his Mam definately appreciated some relax time which is worth it. Bless him when I dropped him off he tried to come back out of the door with us :rotfl:

Just realised we've been cooking our tree, noticed it looked a bit tired (some branches going brown) and then that the portable heater is next to it, oooops, at least it's Christmas next week

Speaking of which think I might have to cancel my attending a meeting tomorrow, need to get xmas shopping finished, those bloody slippers!!! I also need to start wrapping presents, neice and nephews for Mam to take over for me. Unfortunately won't see them due to sister being the way she is but no need for the kids to go without. Think I best do a list for tomorrow and decide on meeting based on that, will just write one I think.

Don't know how much time I will get online tomorrow so hope you all have a good day xx
One day I might be more organised...........

OMG - just thought, are we in the twilight zone here? Only earlier in today's thread, people were talking about what they'd save in a fire and - one of us has had a fire!:eek:

Maybe we should all start talking about what we'd buy if we won the lottery - the premium bonds etc. etc. :rotfl:

I'd pay off all my debts, take driving lessons and then depending on the amount of winnings either pay a deposit on a house (even if it was just a rental) or buy a house :rotfl::rotfl:
