I know it's a bit late because I've been bumbling, but anyone for a :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:, help yourselves. Sorry, no biccies today.
BTW anyone know where I can get tins/jars of syrup? Sainsbury's only had bottles of pouring stuff, and I'm sure that makes it more expensive.

AnW's mum - here it is.
Megan is 2 steps forward and 2 back at the mo, great this morning boinking about the garden then fell tonight and struggling to walk, emotional roller coaster, one minute I think well she's the same as she was last year then something else happens.
Seeing cousins today wasn't nice really, we did manage to get his little parrot rehomed which was good, he loved his animals and would have hated anything bad to happen to him, such a lovely tame pet, how much time my uncle spent with him really showed. Funeral costs things was discussed a little but have asked my Dad to call them, he's done this a lot unfortunately, cousins going to be ripped off otherwise, he thinks the funeral director was being nice when he suggested asking the social to pay for it (which they won't) rather than them get into debt, I said if he was 'nice' he'd have been suggesting what they asked for, no fuss/faff, their Dad hated funerals, wouldn't goto other peoples, he'd hate them to spend a fortune on his, he told loads of his friends if they went to his funeral he'd haunt them forever which is just typical of him. He was a king horder, definately not a flyer either so there is a lot for my cousins to do. Council have given them 2 weeks, how lovely and patient of them! Was some nice bits, remembering things we did as kids when we seen each other more, laughing with his friends about things he said and did (he was VERY much a character, noone where he lived hasn't heard of him or doesn't know who he is I don't think) finding things he'd kept that we remember from when we were kids etc. They have said possible funeral dates are 22nd, which isn't good, or after Christmas which is even worse! See what the week brings I think.
DP went to sleep at about 10pm (was out at 7am after getting in at 2.30am) he got punched last night at work so wasn't in a great mood, some moron who didn't want to pay. Backhander so he's fine, nose only bled a little. Makes you wonder what people do things like that for, all for a £12 taxi fare, CCTV will be checked but can't see anything being done, wasn't the last time.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Was reading a book on clutter earlier (yes I have about four
) and it asked what you would save if there was a fire. Now apart from the usual family and pets the only other things I'd be desperate to save are my photos which are all in one drawer and on my computer and external hard drive. Much as I would hate to loose everything else it's only the photos which I'd panic about loosing. Made me think that maybe then I don't really need as much stuff as I have
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!:whistle: Maybe I really need to get rid of some crafty stuff like the 65000 cross stitch kits and the two tons of knitting wool, not to mention the candle making kit, the card making kit....:o oops, I wasn't going to mention those. :rotfl:
Gryfon something like that does make you look at things in a different light, doesn't it, and think about what we do actually value? Part of the rearranging and study relocating was to make everything tidier (it's still a work in progress) and make it easier for me to get at my crafty stuff so I can use it, so i won't re4ally get rid, but will certainly sort things, and perhaps I should be scanning photos in and transferring them to discs to minimise the risk of losing them. I want to get a Fireproof safe (not that we have that much in the way of valuables) so the photo discs could be stored in there!
New Year's Resolution: Declutter, dejunk and make sure that whatever I keep, there's a good reason for it! ETA - kids? :rotfl:DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Thanks PF for finding it.
Sounds terrible lil_me, an itemised bill is definately the way to go. When DH died the funeral director gave an estimate first based on what I asked for. I told him that neither of us wanted to spend loads on a box (still hate the C word) to go in the ground. He had a brochure with a complete range and price range in, skipped to the cheap end and there was still a good choice.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
