BTW anyone know where I can get tins/jars of syrup? Sainsbury's only had bottles of pouring stuff, and I'm sure that makes it more expensive.

    I usually buy Tesco Value - 75p for a 1lb jar.

Ok, I've stopped early cos my bak is starting to hurt.
    I have

Pulled out carp from under the settee
    Swept out under settee
Sorted kids toys to go back upstairs
Put singins santas ans snowmen back where they belong
    Put dishes away
Done it all again after DS2 followed me round lol

Having a break now, got to go to the school soon to get DS1 changed for his party this afternoon. Then back here for an hour or so and more flying before i pick him and nephew up at 3.15.

  • Justamum - thanks for that! I'll have to nip in to Tesco so I can make hobnobs and hedgehog!

I've done 3 washloads, SS'd bathroom and shower room. Still need to do the kitchen, but may do that after lunch. DS is finally up and about, so I'm going to persuade him to do some stuff in his room and I can direct operations! That's the plan anyway. :rotfl:

I'm going into his bedroom.....................I may be some time!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    [STRIKE]WM x 2
    Breakfast dishes washed[/STRIKE]
Dough for 4 loaves on first rising

    To Do -
    1. [STRIKE]Cancel TV licence DD - signal is going off in June, so I've paid up to then already![/STRIKE] Done.
    2. [STRIKE]Put Christmas money from Mum into bank to stop us falling over the brink of our overdraft. Don't want to pay charges.[/STRIKE] Done. I feel relieved that we're no longer hanging over the edge, but I was hoping to be able to treat myself with that money. Oh well.
    3. Start wrapping pressies for children - I need to see if I have enough paper. Now I've eaten and had a :coffee: I think I'll sneak off now while DD2 is watching Mickey Mouse Christmas.
    4. Pigpen's list Yeah, yeah - later. :rolleyes::rotfl:
    5. Make biscuits with DD2  (the mess, the mess ):eek::eek: Still not done
    6. [STRIKE]Shopping for bits for DD1's cooking lesson tomorrow - apple strudel.[/STRIKE] Done.
