Triker - I really hope your hubby improves quickly. Did you manage to renew your insurance before you went to the dentist? Hope so!!!
I've just had the district nurse round. I've got a lovely perfect hexagon on the top of my leg, it's raised by an inch and looks like something is pushing through from underneath. The DN was most impressed. As soon as it came off it stopped itching. Sadly my wound has started to open a bit in two places. I'm a bit peed off about that as I've been so careful and not picked anything up heavier than a book, a drink or decluttered paper. I'm not allowed to move off the sofa until the morning when she's coming back. It will be fine....it will be fine, it will be absolutely fine!
Have a nice Friday night everyone xx0 -
Oooh BTW AnW Happy birthday!! xxxxx

Triker - hope your OH's tooth heals quickly and that you can go away as intended - what a nightmare!
Mudders - I'm with you on the 7744 - FAR superior to the pix of the 7237. :rotfl:
Gryf - hugs for you to
Pigpen - with luck, if everyone's got the sicky bug now, they'll be fine for Christmas.
Had a nice gin and gossip time with my neighbour. She's exhausted, poor love. She's 72 and still works 8 hours a day, 4 days a week. She does all the accounts/stock control etc. for a small but select shop in town. They've had people off sick this week so she's had to do some time on the shop floor as well. She came in hobbling and weary but left feeling a bit more relaxed.
Oh, I now have an extra guest for Christmas day - one of DS's friends. His Mum's abroad and his girlfriend's going to be out of town so he phoned and asked if there might be an extra space at the table (he's been before!). I said of course there is. So, there'll now be 8 of us. A nice even number.
Right, I now have to go and cook something and, more importantly, wrap something solidly and securely to go in special delivery post tomorrow morning

soappie - really impressed with you and the lego, and Lil me so pleased you are not letting them down. At least once a week something on here makes me want to cry but at least this is a positive weep.
triker, huge hugs for you and your OH. Everything crossed for you.
I managed to get the whole of upstairs deep cleaned, and did a surface clean downstairs so fairly pleased with myself. Need to tackle the yucky mess that is the playroom tomorrow, and take the boys walking in their new clumpy boots.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Poohbear not seen you post for a while, hope you and yours are ok. Did your DS recover ok from his accident? How is your other DS now?
Thanks for asking DK I hope you are feeling better. I haven't been well myself, seized up and unable to walk, or anything else for that matter so I haven't even been able to sit at computer. Hence, no flying whatsoever for about three weeks now.
DS1 is home for Christmas, DS2 is much better and back at work, feeling more positive about life and DS3 is now having osteo treatment for his neck and back as a result of his car accident but is also back to doing all the dangerous things he loves, including skiing last weekend.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

hex well done!
poohbear nice to see you pop in, sorry to hear you haven't been well
Mudbath, these things can happen no matter how careful you are, just do as you're told and let them sort it.
soappie, how nice to have one more
do they all muck in?
Kitchens almost done, tidy and surfaces apart from floor are clean. WM back on inc school coats. Cupboard next. DS1s playing nicely with his lego aqua something or another, that's why I like lego, they tend to be much calmer with it, specifically those which are kits to build certain things rather than just the blocks. One day I might be more organised...........
